Literally the best wings I've ever had. Cash only so come prepared. Also can get quite busy so prepare to wait, but it is worth the wait. They serve craft local beer. Menus items you have to try - Burger, Wings, Cheeseburger soup, Friday Fish Fry
Food is pretty good. Heavy food tho. One star because we waited a hour and half for a table of 6 even tho they were not busy. And party that came in less than 3they got seated right away. They only have 2 tables big enough for more than 4 people. And not once did they put tables together for our group even tho tables were empty. They just sat everyone else first. Couldn't even tell us it would be a long wait. Place is uber small and uncomfortable.
In an era where these new restaurants are popping up trying to sell you a $14 burger, Grovers keeps it real. HUGE and delicious burger at a great price. Bring your cash. No cards (ATM on site). I'll be honest, I've never had or known anyone who has had anything but a burger here. Hear the wings are good but if you get a burger and fries/rings (1/2 & 1/2 baskets are on the menu), you won't have room for anything but a brewskin.
We're here at Grover's Bar and Grill, where the burgers aren't just huge on size, but huge on flavor! The black n' Bleu burger is beyond fantastic and the onion rings have just enough crunch to take you all the way to flavor town and back! Definitely with the trip, outstanding staff who were friendly and attentive, and a bartender who gave us a warm welcome, but ice cold beer. All good all around!
Great food, great prices! Casual atmosphere. You definitely must try this place!!
Burgers and servings are still great in fact almost too much for one person.
Service seems to be slipping somewhat. I prefer tables my menu doesn't stick to.
Also when you ask for a bigger table (which is unoccupied) but are told that it's not possible because of designated server areas, only to have that server also serve your table anyway together with your original server and for them to say: I don't know where we're gonna fit all this food and still not offer another table I think you get the idea here.
The biggest doesn't always mean the best, but as far as I'm concerned Grover's is absolutely both. You'll want to plan ahead as it's not a large place and can get crowded fast, but despite the potential wait, the food is some of the absolute best Buffalo has to offer. If you're hungry for burgers this one will satisfy like no other. The cheeseburger soup by the way? Absolutely essential.
Nice little place, service was fine. We ordered 3 burgers medium. Two were under cooked and one was extremely Under cooked. Overheard waitress ask another table if food was ok because they had a new cook. Burgers are cooked on a flat stove and are very greecy. Expected better. Had heard a lot of good things about the place.
I live 5 minutes from Grovers and never paid it any attention until I heard they have great burgers. My wife and I went there for lunch one day and split one, and now I'm annoyed I waited so long to try them. One of the best burgers I've ever had! Great, low-key Polish decor, friendly waitress and phenomenal food, can't wait to go back!
Take out experience is poorly managed. Called to place an order for pick up and asked if I could get it an hour later but was told we had to call back to get it at that time. When we called back later, we were informed they could not take our order. A similar experience occurred prior too. At the very least be clear on communicating your services. Sorry I have to give up trying, maybe the food is worth it???
Called for an order got half way through the order and was placed on hold for 8 minutes. Hung up and called back only to be hung up on again. Called twice more and was told they could not accommodate our order of 9 hamburgers. If a restaurant can not accommodate customers they should be sure to not that on the menus they hand out. I truly hope whomever owns this restaurants gets wind of what the employees are doing with the business.
Great little burger place..Huge portions. Cheeseburger soup is a specialty. Also good chicken wings, sandwiches, etc.
If you're in the mood for a large juicy burger, Grover's is the place. Usually has a wait going so get there early. Rather small but the food is great. Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Great place only expect a longer wait for a table in more busy days. Also make sure to bring cash because they don't take credit/debit cards. Only complaint I have is they don't advertise cash only when you first walk in, but thankfully they have a atm inside.
