Beautiful place. I went for an author's book release (Rosanne L Higgins) and will be back to see the rest of the museum.

Loved the guided tour on a Sunday afternoon. The paperweight exhibit was awsome! We're glad they were able to bring it to this museum.
The staff was knowledgeable and friendly!

I absolutely loved visiting the BPAC when I attended Buffalo State because of all the creative pieces of art that were on display. There is always a rich collection of contemporary and modern art being showcased which I am a huge fan of. A trip here any time of the day was extremely relaxing and so inspirational.

Not enough students took advantage of the free admissions which is unfortunate. They frequently host events and invite key speakers, where you have the opportunity to learn a great deal and network with attendees.

The BPAC was recently renovated and they installed projectors in front of the center that displays films on the center itself. It's a pleasure to watch it when the sun is down because you can see it clearly.

Beautiful gallery just opposite the Knox-Albright Gallery in Buffalo. Excellent layout and regularly changing exhibitions.

Not too huge of a gallery. It contains many of Burchfield's works, as well as a unique focus on art from Western New York. I found it very intrigued that the ceiling of the second floor has the constellation Orion in the lights.

Well designed expansive gallery. I'm not personally a fan of Charles Birchfields work, however many contemporary and experimental come through here

Unpretentious. You can wander and take in the art at your own pace, think & consider.

I was here for a wedding so I probably didn't see it in its natural element, but it seemed very nice and modern. And obviously caters to requests.

Both museums, literally within 200 yards of each other, the Burchfield and Alright-Knox, offer modern art at its' finest. The Albright does an amazing job at featuring locally made children's art work throughout the school season. Neither museum is designed for the children's integration per say. The Western NY arts community is in the early stages of planning the building of a child centered arts center along the Canal Side water front in the future. All amazing things do take time. Enjoy the art that is here in Buffalo.
