I was looking very forward to my first trip there and found myself letdown. Service is very slow although they were friendly. The menu is a little less Cajun that I had hoped for.
Very disappointed. Waited a very long time for our meal (well over an hour) even though it wasn't that busy in the restaurant. My fried chicken was pretty gross too- like it was par-boiled first.
When the food finally arrived, the server put the wrong one in front of me and spilled a bunch of the side all over my sweater and jeans. I was so excited to try this place, won't be going back. Also only beer and wine.
Had a very nice brunch. Great atmosphere, good staff and the food is very good.
Very exciting place. Better than just traditional daily food. Price friendly. $$.
Had a very nice first visit here on Dining Out for Life night to support Evergreen Health. Great food in a great atmosphere. I plan to return soon.
Good food - Cajun and Creole-inspired, attentive service, lots of wine selections. I expect to be a repeat visitor here. The prices are in line with what you'd expect for the quality of the meal you get, if not a bit less expensive than expected!
What a great place, great food and very reasonable prices. Mom and Pop style cozy place, with the best servers, knowledgeable, very customer orientated. This is going to be a regular stop for our family.
Great eclectic menu mixing old world and new unexpected flavours. I could go on about the details and spoil the surprises, but I don't want to take the moment away from you.
Bottom line, we'll executed dishes with a great balance of flavours, spice and subtleties.
The food here is absolutely amazing! I would definitely make reservations as it is very small. I went with 7 people and NOT one meal was bad. Tried BBQ rabbit and alligator for the first time and they made me a lover of the dishes! Highly recommend. Also they only sell beer and wine.
If you love craft cocktails and are willing to experiment with something new, The Laundry Room is the best place in town. Dan, the expert mixologist will make you a custom drink with just a few hints to what you are in the mood for. I've never had the same drink twice there, and I've never gotten a bad drink! If you can, sit at the bar. Dan will happily talk with you about the drinks and why he makes them the way he does. You can learn so much about how to make your drinks at home better from a simple conversation with him.
It took me a long time to visit Five Points' *new* location, just a stone's throw from its original spot. The building is beautiful. I arrived about 20 minutes before closing time on a recent Thursday night, so there was no cheese bread to be had. (It was being baked and would be ready the next day.) I picked up the last loaf of cinnamon raisin bread with walnuts and decided to gamble on something called apple cider bread. Best decision in recent memory. Check out this *new* (sorry) bread. It's incredible. Best bread in WNY. Why go anywhere else?
Always excellent food. We particularly like the gumbo and the bread pudding but everything has always been first rate. The restaurant is beautiful with a warm high end feel, but you would be comfortable in black tie to casual. It can get a little loud.
