Greensboro Orthopaedics is by far the worst doctors office I have ever gone to. I don’t normally ever do anything like this but I feel like I should warn people. Yesterday I had an appointment at 2:15. I wasn’t seen until 4:30. They did x-rays of my back and told me that I needed an MRI (which was to be expected). However the doctor (Dr. Brooks) came in for 5 minutes and was extremely short with me and rude. He seemed like he was in a hurry and wanted it to be over with. They told me it probably wouldn’t be until next week until I could get the MRI. By then, I was already in tears because I had been dealing with not only the rude doctor, but basically every staff member (Dr. Carmen?, and a nurse with short blonde hair) I came into contact with had been extremely unpleasant. I told them that I could not wait that long (because I am in a lot of pain) and that I’d rather go somewhere else that could see me sooner. They scheduled me for one at Greensboro Imaging (which was a very good experience) and told me they would prescribe me pain medication. I left the appointment feeling very upset and disrespected. They took my money and gave me no information, and didn’t seem to care whatsoever. They also FORGOT to put in the prescription order.
So today after getting my MRI, I called Guilford Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center to schedule an appointment to get my MRI results and to set up treatment. They told me that they would need my X-rays and doctors notes from Greensboro Orthopaedics. I called them and they told me it would cost me another $10 to access my medical records and that I would have to wait 7-10 business days. TO ACCESS MY INFORMATION THAT I PAID FOR THAT THEY COULDN’T EVEN HELP ME WITH. I am so done with this process. I have left a message with the manager and am waiting to hear back. It’s very clear that they only care about getting their money and not at all about the patients. If you have an injury, DO NOT GO TO GREENSBORO ORTHOPAEDICS.response / report this review -

Just a money hungry place. I am having sever elbow and hand pain including poping and clicking in my hand and elbow. Making it hard to do the simplest things. I live almost a hour away, had a 9 o'clock appointment. Rushed to get my son to school rushed to get out there. Get there and I had forgotten my copay at home. Which is only 20 dollars. I was like can I pay when I get home and the lady at the desk was very short. NO U CAN'T. I was like seriously she was like you need to make a new appointment for later today. I can't because I have to pick my children up from school. So she's like we can see you next week, I was like that's okay I will call someone else. Yes it's my fault for forgetting the money at home. But seriously you're willing to throw thousands of dollars away for TWENTY DOLLARS INCREDIBLE. Keep in mind I offered to pay as soon as I got home. O well I made a appointment for somewhere else for Thursday. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. All they want is your money they definitely don't care about you.

Dr. Huett is a joke. The physical therapy department is a joke too. Waste of money and time. The Dr. Spends no time comprehensible to my injury. This place is a money making joke. Did not even give me earplugs for my MRI, and I have had migranes since. Im 7 months out from my injury and still in chronic pain and cant do much. I really just want a good doctor, because Im just not feeling well.

In the reviews I've read it is not fair to include all doctors at Greensboro Orthopedics when you've only seen one and had a bad experience. Dr. Matthew Olin is my doctor. He is second to none. He has done a partial hip replacement, a shattered hip and two knee replacements. Dr. Olin always takes all the time I need. Never had any problem with any staff members.

Usually there is a wait to get an appointment. When you go for your appointment they usually get you in quick but you end up waiting for a bit. But their doctors are second to none. I have seen doctors for an ankle injury and back problems.

Oftentimes a very long wait. Sometimes hard to get in touch with the right person. Doctor's seem competent. PT staff and facility is good.

If you have an appointment here, go ahead and cancel the rest of your day's plans, pack a lunch, and bring a novel to read. They consistently overbook appointments to where a 9:15 easy check-up means you won't be called back until 11:15 and then seeb until the afternoon. Why bother?! 😡😡

I have been taken care of , operated on and cured by Greensboro Orthopaedics for 18yrs
The Drs and staff are amazing, especially Dr Jeffery Beane.Dr Beane has advised my team of surgeons and personally replaced many of my major joints so i can walk and live a full life.Dr Olin and Dr Norris did my hip replacement and shoulder
and are excellent .
Dr Beane is the best diatistician and surgeon

Dr Whitfield has no sympathy for a patient in pain. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my c5/c6 and have had two steroid spinal injections, multiple X-rays and now I have an issue with my shoulder which they have already done a steroid shot into my rotator cuff for and now I have an MRI scheduled. I have pain radiating from my shoulder blade through my chest and down my left arm. The doctor has refused to let me have any type of pain medicine. I will be switching doctors after I get my MRI finished this week. I would not recommend anyone go to this doctor if you have an issue that is causing you any pain.

I've been there a few times for different injuries. Some of the doctors are fine but, there seems to be a problem with their infrastructure. I went there for an ankle injury and they gave me a hip specialist (Swinteck). The hip specialist having only general knowledge really didn't do anything that could benefit my situation at the time so G.O. or the powers that be stretched out my appointment schedules until the ankle specialist got back from a month's vacation (Hewitt). I asked Hewitt a couple of questions regarding the injury if it was a tear or a ruptured tendon. He told me it was ruptured, but It will heal back. He said that it can easily rupture again. Now who wants to pay for that? He then recommended immediate physical therapy without surgery in three weeks? I thought to myself dude just doesn't want to perform surgery for whatever reason. I'm ok with that just don't waste my time because I'll go somewhere else, and I did thankfully! I went to North Carolina Orthapaedics in Durham and they were Awesome! Greensboro Ortho needs another ankle Surgeon or more cross-trained surgeons. If you feel like someone is blowing smoke your a** definitely get a second opinion. This jerk wanted me walking around like Frankenstein! If they are taking too much time to diagnose your situation and you feel like just another number go somewhere else! God willing I'll never go back again or recommend them to any of my friends!

Took my daughter to see Dr Adam Kendall. We found him to be very knowledgeable, informative and genuinely interested in her care. Highly recommend. While there is a bit of a wait, it is because he spends time with his patients as a thorough physician.
