We had my son's birthday party therefor the second year in a row. Kids loved it, staff was helpful and now they have inflatables for the pool.

A wonderful place to work out, have fun, or just burn off that extra energy you have during those winter months when you can't get outside. Beautiful inside and well kept. Also has a great pool area. Friendly and courteous staff.

Great place to work out and meet friends in the community. They are super friendly and and try to help when ever they can they have a great swimming pool with a water slide and water mushroom.

Newly built in the last 10 years. Nice stuff, but the staff, especially the higher ups, seem to lack consideration for their paying members at times. There is a parking lot, but small and often people will double park even though told not to, and again nobody says anything. The lifeguards and nursing staff for the gym are not always there (call off or come in late sonetimes) and their children's programs, while they have awesome teachers, seen to be aimed more towards how many they can cram in, than actual care at times. Overall, still a nice place to go to, but don't expect everything to be 100% all the time.

The first thing I did when I moved here to Carbondale was join the YMCA ! My 12 yr.old and 6yr.old get to choose what they have interest in ! Soccor and workout classes !! We swim in peaceful setting ! Great family time ! Festival's that you can bring friend's to ! The best thing I've done was join !

Highlight: the nice pool with a cool long slide and "waterfall mushroom."

We love Friday family night, when non-member families can enjoy 1 hour in the pool plus another hour in a gym with a bouncy castle and lots of other toys for just $5 per child.

And there are tons of classes for members.

Indoor pool with a slide, multiple gyms for basketball and weight training. BEAUTIFUL FACILITY. 4 stars because of staff.. horribly lazy and unreasonable. Been a member of the Y for numerous years and my family,
multi numerous, but they still insist on checking my membership card, online membership and calling to the YMCA I originally subscribed to EVERY TIME. I understand it's for safety but it usually takes 20 + minutes and by the time they are done hassling me and whoever I'm with, I have no urge to work out. Please find some kind of method to cross-check names with the entire YMCA system and this major problem would disappear. If you are torn between Honesdale and Carbondale, the Carbondale Y is VERY nice while the Honesdale Y offers personable staff who are very friendly.

Great facility with wonderful staff. Our daughter had a Sunday basketball party for 10-12 kids in July of 2016. We were warmly welcomed to the YMCA upon entry and given a quick breakdown of who/what/where/when.

While there was a small misunderstanding with how long we'd have an attendant on the court, the YMCA were incredibly great about having that individual return. Aside from that one small misunderstanding, the party went smoothly. The 'coach' was great with the kids and kept them engaged. The pizza that was provided was decent and the classroom used for pizza/cake/presents was clean.

Very easy transaction and all-around delightful experience. My daughter and her friends are excited to GO BACK next year for a party. Thanks team Carbondale YMCA for the outstanding party. Highly recommend this facility.

Our local YMCA is amazing. My son went to Pre-K there, and we are about to go down and renew our membership so he can enjoy the facilities during his summer break. He can't wait to go swimming, play basketball, and play ping pong. They have so many amenities and activities, it's 100% worth the price of membership. The people that work there are amazing, I highly recommend our local YMCA.
