I really enjoyed this old-school Motorlodge The family that runs it is quite charming, and the rooms are clean and quaint. Within driving distance of Bowling Green, Toledo, and Put-N-Bay

Good late night stop. Off the freeway much cheaper than other options. Staff was friendly and had a little alcove to park in which I felt much safer with my soft Thule rack than right off the highway. For $71 with tax I would say forget the big place if you are on a budget and stay here.

Quaint motel. Slightly overpriced. Bizarre shallow tub. Sheets made of sandpaper. Free toothbrush! Plentiful electrical sockets.

Nice older place. Clean rooms. Clean bathrooms. Beware of unfrosted windows in bathrooms. Gaps in blinds allow people to peek into bathroom. Small garages between rooms, no worries about loud tvs next door.

If you find yourself in Freemont, this is the place to stay! Absolutely wonderful staff and the place is super clean and comfy. You even get your own covered parking. It's small and very well maintained.

I told the owners I was going to be here for 3 months for work. I'm currently staying here (last week here). After one month it's a federal law that they cannot charge me taxes because I am a temporary resident. They caused such a stink about that and claimed I never told them that I was going to be there that long. So they are running me out of here because they are charging other people more. That's fine though because in the month that I have been here they have changed the linens on my bed twice only after threatening to leave both times. I have to go to the office every time I want towels and when I get "clean" towels half of them have stains on them. Also you can expect to have the heater in your room shut off twice a week from incompetence. It's really nice when that happens and its 28 degrees outside.

I especially liked the carport at each room. That was nice. The owners are nice. The rooms are clean. The rooms are comfortable. Many stores and restaurants close. Close to the river and fishing. Great place to stay.
