Rooms are not that expensive, keeping this in mind the quality seems fine. Staff is also helpful. Nice lake side pool is there however there is no beach access.
Right on the lake. Nice rooms. VERY nice front desk lady. (Jacquelyn) VERY helpful and friendly. Great place to stay!!!
Only getting one star for the nice staff! Otherwise, the whole place smells moldylule an old basement. Spiders everywhere.big brown spiders. Windows covered in bugs. Lake side roomnot lake side, has a small window with a mediocre view of the lake. Not worth the extra money. No fridge, safe didn't work. Coffee pot maker in the roomno actual pot to make the coffee in. It just seemed really dirty. I honestly would not recommend this hotel to anyone! It's disgustingI would imagine that if they don't fix these things they will go out of business. I have to add that the towels were dirty, almost everyone had hair in them! And the "continental breakfast" was bagels, toast, and cereal. This was seriously the worst hotel I stayed at. Not at all worth the price!
The wife and I were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for the night and happened upon this place. The room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, and great cable service compared to more expensive places. The view walking out of the room was beautiful. The women we encountered at the front desk were both very nice and helpful. We saw a sign at the desk that said the pool was out of order but that did not bother us at all. The only issue we had was the door latch did not seem to work but the main one did. We definitely see this place as a viable option should we need somewhere to stay close to Cedar Point.
Pool out of order. One end of pool out of ground due to freeze and thaw. No mention of this when we booked the room. Heroin baggie on ground outside my room first morning. Yes I said heroin. Room smelled like a damp mop. I understand it's on the shore of Erie but Pine Sol goes a long way. Staff advised a electric hook up for boat would be accessible. I had to run a extension cord out the door. 189.00 a night wow. So look at a condo in West harbor 200.00 with a boat slip.
Aside from having a weird smell when we initially entered the room, everything was great. We stayed in a lakeside room and the beds were comfortable and pillows were nice. The front desk lady was super awesome. Seriously she made the stay so much nicer. Check out was later and the Continental breakfast was tended to. Pool was out, but there is a concrete pad right on the lake that we fished from. Definitely will stay again!
Things were nice. We loved being right on the lake. The room was clean but smelled musty. We could have definitely used more towels. The staff was friendly. We will likely stay again.
Clean, located right on the water near all sorts of businesses. Room AC worked great. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was a bit small. Would stay there again.
We stayed at the Travelodge in Port Clinton, we actually stayed there twice in one year. My favorite part was being able to seat in the back and look at the lake. We also met some great people. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was okay, enough to hold you but overall I enjoyed my stay and we will be returning.
The location was great! Close to ferries to Put-In-Bay and right along Lake Erie. Service and workers were helpful and pleasant. The room was a little outdated with an old tv. It would have been convenient to have a microwave and mini fridge but the lobby had a microwave and they were happy to hold things in their fridge behind the counter. The room had some bugs on the ceiling but the bed, sink, and bathroom were very clean. The price was great and will definitely stay at again if I am in the area.
Service was excellent. Everyone behind the front counter are very kind and will get you in and out as quickly as possible. The free breakfast is composed of what tastes like school grade food, but at the same time has good components to a balanced breakfast. My room was clean, but with a faint smell of dankness, as well as having cobwebs in the corners. Personally that doesn't bother me much, but to some of you neat freaks out there, you might not be happy.
Honestly it's worth the money though. It's cheap for what it is, 30 minutes from Cedar Point, almost soundproof, and well managed.
