I have been snowboarding here for almost 18 years now and I have to say it is one of the best places are you can find. Long gone are the $10 a night ski till 10pm but times changes and you’ve gotta move on.
The recent changes in high speed chair lifts is a God send. You can get many more vertical in a day than you used to it’s not even funny. The terrain park is fun and challenging each and every year and don’t listen to the one grumpy guy who complained about the fresh snow the didn’t groomit was fresh SNOW!
It prices aren’t what I would call cheap so if you find yourself coming here 6-8 times a yearjust get a season pass in Sept. and you’ll have it paid for. That and you can come up in the morning with would having to wait in the ticket line! Also make sure to bring your own grill and beer on the really nice daysnothing better than tailgating when it’s above 50!

Came up all the way from Oklahoma just so snowboard in Wisconsin, and it was Perfect!! We were there 4 days last week in April so we had the whole mountain to ourselves almost!! One of the best parts is this resort stay open until 8p.m.!! The trails are huge and my family loved all the terrain parks!! Great place to break out the boardsor skis I guess.

Snowboarded for the weekend with my family, and I was really impressed with the conditions. Perfectly groomed in the morning, and not one closed run or lift. Lift operations went swift and smoothly. Food in the historic chalet is excellent. Would love to give a shout out to Zach and Kenny for their excellent help is assisting with my son's allergy requests. Overall an exceptional experience, would definitely return and recommend to others.

Spring skiing Easter weekend. This should have and could have easily been a five star review but the area unexpectedly got 5 inches of heavy wet powder overnight Friday night and they made NO ATTEMPT to groom even some of the runs. I get that they can't control the weather, but close a couple greens, a couple blues and a couple blacks and groom, at the very least for the afternoon. It was done snowing before they even opened. It wasn't crowded at all they could have easily done at least some grooming. The facility is fabulous, the staff is, for the most part, the most friendly and helpful of any resort I've been too except for one grumpy lift operator. They were a noon groom away from a five star review but I can't give more than 2 under the circumstances.

Skied with my daughter for two consecutive nights over the last weekend.
Our first visit, we are novice skiers. We really enjoyed the lifts, runs and the general ski conditions of the hill. The music was great in the lodge but I thought the food and beverages were a little high-priced.

One person stood out for their exemplary service: Charles in the kitchen of the lodge. Great attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for your customers. He really stands-out! Well done, Charles!

I mean, it's not out west so I can't give it four stars, and it's only step half the run. But as far as midwest goes is hard to top.

Great downhill runs through beautiful scenery! Awesome staff, and wonderful environment! Just a look bit pricey for food.

Really fun place to go on a ski vacation. Crowds weren't too high, and items at the gift shop were decently priced. The snowblowers were on all day, even though it already had plenty of snow. It was a bit too much with the blowers on quite annoying and loud. There were quite a few kids straight lining down many of the blue runs, would have been nice if ski patrol would have intervened. Overall the food was decent. I was especially impressed with the chicken sandwich. Cheese curds and french fries were, of course, delicious.
On a positive note, the ticket agents and equipment staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Thank you to all of you.

This ski area is by far the best I've been to in Wisconsin! The only drawback is the price- but if you go on an evening with a deal, it's not too outrageous. But the terrain parks and high speed lift are awsome! Also, they have some pretty decent trails for experts. 👍

Granite Peak has great runs and is a lot of fun to ski. However, they are way overpriced! Their pricing structure is outrageous. I would understand these prices from a resort out in Colorado or California, but not from Central Wisconsin. Great place, but I would not recommend to anyone who actually cares about how much they spend.
