The best hotel I have ever been to. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I was in a jam and they let me check in 6 hours early for no additional charge. The best hotel!!

Unfortunately, this hotel has bed bugs. Both our beds last night were infested with mature adult bed bugs. The staff's handling of this situation was rude. We felt like we were bothering her with this issue and she never apologized. I have stayed at this hotel every time I have stayed in Madison; never again.

We stay here twice a year. I always come back to this hotel because of the friendly staff, quiet and spacious rooms and comfy beds. Love it here! Awesone shower heads!!!

I don’t know what’s so Grand about this stay at this hotel but ,I will not come back ever again. Had a couple complications and I just came to hotel. Above me sounded like Brunswick Zone Bowling back at home all night long. Called and complained and nothing was solved. The television in the living wasn’t working at all. Walking through the hallways you heard music blasting where you could hear every single lyric. Opened up the sofa sleeper and there was a big stain right there. Will never come again and don’t suggest anyone to come here!

We are 3 people family booked a room for two night. The housekeeper didn't not clean our bed for the next day. Also, I assigned to sleep on the sofa bed, the front desk said thier can't provide a comforter, only an uncomfortable blanket and thin sheet to me.

Cheaply owned and managed. My daughter was asked rudely by hotel staff as to why she needed so much bacon. I looked under the cover on her plate and discovered five, thinly cut, burnt pieces of Oscar Meyer pre cooked bacon.
The next day, there was no bacon put out. Just yogurt and warm biscuits.

Very comfortable rooms. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are great. Room is clean, comfortable. I love the little living area and kitchen in mine. Am down for business and am very happy with staying here the next few weeks

Great place. But prostitute's were in 322. I heard sexual moaning and guys coming in and out the rooms all night and smelled drugs coming out of the room. Smh I'll never return. I couldn't sleep at all.

It sure what to think. It needs a bit of a remodel for the price they ask. Not that anything in the Madison area is cheap but Pai the o er pealing and chipped paint doesn't look too great.

Each room is very spacious and nicely laid out. That being said, some things such as furniture and the elevator feel a bit dated. When I entered my room on the first day there was popcorn on the carpet that obviously was not vacuumed up. Other than that it was quite a nice stay.

Decent stay overall, comfortable bed. Asked for a late checkout when we checked in and we were told at check-in 1pm. Staff called us the next day saying it was 11 and tried to charge extra when we checked out. A bit low class on their part but other than that nice place.

Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel anywhere in the United States. The original room we were given was filthy with things not worth mentioning they gave us another room and when we opened the door we walked in on another family who was already occupying that room.. At that point they still wouldn't refund our money, so they gave us a gift certificate for a free room in the future as if we wanted to come back?
We actually tried to use the gift certificate shortly after and they came up with an excuse not to honor it.
Businesses run this way should not be in business. As a small business owner i am shocked by the lack of customer service.
We got a room at the East Town Best Western instead and it was so much nicer and much cheaper with full kitchen and extra room.
The GrandStay should be embarrassed of this location.response / report this review
