Attended an event at the hotel and was very disappointed. The property is very dated, smelly, musty. The food for the event was a chicken which was over cooked. However the Salmon was good per my co-workers. The liquor was no names and this despite the price they charged us. The DJ was pretty lame. Overall I do not recommend this venue for any event until they invest in remodeling.

I am here for a wedding. The bride received horrible treatment when she checked in the night before her wedding. She walked around the property for quite a while trying to locate her room because the lady at the front desk refused to give her directions. I arrived at 9:30 am to help set up and Joanna at the front desk was rude, unprofessional, and had an awful attitude. As a matter or fact, everyone that came to help had the same complaint about her. On a positive note, the staff at the restaurant who also work at the venue where the event is being held are wonderful and extremely helpful. So wonderful that they made up for the discomfort I experienced with that rude Joanna. I can go on but I think I got my point across.

Exterior is older but well kept. Room left much to be desired. Carpet was very worn and had a large burn. The toilet rocked from side to side and was quite entertaining. The bathroom clearly hasn't been updated since the 80s and the towels were pretty rough. On a bright note, bed was comfy and the a/c maintained just the right temp. Breakfast wasmeh. Outside of that, would not stay here again.

Sunday brunch was horrendous. I don’t typically review restaurants but this definitely deserves some feedback. We were in town with friends and our wives were beyond excited for the Sunday Brunch reservations. It started when we all tried the steamed shrimp. Almost all of the shrimp that we peeled were clearly rancid. The texture was dried mush and we literally had to wash our hands after peeling a couple because the spoiled fish smell was enough to ruin an appetite. The gentleman making omelets was successful exactly 0 times in making what was ordered, unburnt, and giving it to the correct person. That was when you could find him. If you needed his service you had to seek him out and request help. The unlimited mimosas were clearly batch mixed and god knows how long ahead of time. There was exactly 0 champagne fizz in any of the poured glasses we received, which tells you how old they were. The entire experience became comical when we decided to cut to the dessert table only to find half of the cheesecake slices with blue mold on top. The only saving grace was the sweet older waitress we had. She was so nice, we didn’t have the heart to mention the horrendous brunch but instead just paid our tab and left.

Would not recommend this Sunday brunch to our worst enemies. Steer clear of this place unless you’re into food poisoning.

Can't say anything negative. Someone got me a room here. There were 2 parts (living area & bedroom). The bathroom was in the bedroom. Everything was clean. Wasn't impressed with the throwback TV in the living room. Flat screens are cheap now so there's no reason they haven't upgraded. There's basic cable here. Microwave, refrigerator, ironing board, iron, closet, there's a sink other than the one in the bathroom, and there are plenty of drawers. AC worked perfectly. It was pretty quiet around the rooms. I didn't really come out the room so I can't comment on the amenities.

This hotel is over-rated and out-dated. Housekeeping was abominable. When I checked in, only 1 hanger was in the closet. I was given only 4 more even though I requested more. I had to go to Walmart & buy more hangers. The next morning I reported the glass plate from the microwave was missing. That night it had not been replaced. The next night I returned to my room & there were no washcloths or hand towels. I was brought 7 washcloths but no hand towels. The next night I returned and found that my room had not be cleaned at all! My ashtrays were never emptied nor was the coffee maker cleaned. The next day I complained to the Customer Service Manager who said everything would be taken care of. I asked about all of the inconvenience or the previous nights. He said he would look at my account and see what he could do. On my last night I returned to no towels again. For over $100/night, I expect more than this. All smoking rooms are on the second floor which can only be reached via outside cement stairs in darkness after 7pm! No elevator at all and if you check in after 5pm or out before 9am, valet service is not available to assist with luggage. When I checked out, I had not received any credit, so I complained again. A few days later I received a 10% credit, not even the amount of one day's stay. I would not stay here again if THEY paid me!! Also, slept in my cloths at night because the bed sheets were crumpled and had blood stains - did not look like they had been laundered. Think twice before you book this hotel!

Great price for rooms but if someone left more than 2 starts review is because they probably didn't notice how many cockroaches there is. I stayed with my family for almost a week and after two days we couldn't handle the horrible and giant cockroaches all over the room, behind the couch, even on our clothes at some point! The hotel is beautiful at first sight, you can take great walks but for me it's not worth the price and the view for the cockroaches. We spent a lot on money for the rooms and the staff didn't do anything. Even the manager ignored us and everyone was very unprofessional about it.

Needs work! Stayed a few nights on a business trip. At one time, this hotel / resort was probably quite majestic! The view of the golf course is beautiful! The room was very dated and felt dirty. I found a Marijuana roach under the soap that was laid out on the bathroom counter. The area does not feel safe! Men hanging around smoking outside. Loud! If you want a quite place to get rested up, this is not it! I will say that the breakfast was nice (with a $5.00 upgrade), as was the staff.

Golf course was well kept and courteous staff. 3 eets of 9 holes makes it unique and a can add a good change to playing 18

Very good golf course. Peaceful location and very convenient to shopping and restaurants, fitness center, restaurant on site and a great staff. Older accommodations and it still shows some of the grandeur of and earlier time. If the owners are able to invest in a restoration project and grounds beautification this hidden gems can be a stronger 4 and go to 5 with upgrades.

Great Experience. At the beginning I was scared because of the reviews, but I decided to take my chances. I do not regret it. It was a nice cozy place. I booked a king bed room and it was in front of the pool; The room was clean and the bed-liners were nice and clean. Katherine is the lady that did my check in, she was really courteous, nice and helpful. I did not use the valet parking and it was offered for free. My check out was done by Michelle. She was also a very nice lady. I will stay here again. The only reason I gave this hotel three stars its because it can use some renovation.

When reviewing this venue, it's all about managing expectations. Grand Palms has seen its better days, and it appears not much money has been spent to keep it updated. On the other hand, given the price I paid compared to hotels in the area, I received a good value for my money. I had a clean room, a cold air conditioner, and friendly and accommodating service (I asked for an early check-inthey said no problem, come as early as you need to!). The free continental breakfast is bare bones, but I'm OK with hot coffee and a bowl of cereal. If you're not the finicky type, this place will serve your needsat a price about $35 - $40 less per day than others close by.
