  Best place I have found in Broward for pet bird supplies. I feel good boarding my parrot here. Make sure your bird is certified Chlamydia free if you want to board.

  This place is definately for the birds! Everyone here is so friendly and knowledgeable. Our birds love to visit too!They have everything you need to keep you and your birds happy!

  Lots a noisy birds but they seemed healthy and happy, the birds where a little packed in but they still had room, lots of rare and cool parrots, not as big as a thought it would be but I still liked it.

  I love going to this place! The staff are friendly, informative and pamper my two African Greys! This is the only place I go to since moving to Florida because they genuinely about animals, they are helpful and provide really great advice, and they have a great selection of food and toys. I was so relieved to find this place, because our previous vet traumatized my babies when clipping their wings, and didn't do a great job so our one grey couldn't land properly and hurt his chest.
  We have never experienced a problem with the Golden Cockatoo. My birds are happy after the grooming session, their nails cut the right length and they clip their wings perfectly so we don't have to worry about any crash landings. The Golden Cockatoo has even helped us by staying after hours when we thought our bird's nail was bleeding after they groomed him, but the silly bugger had just stepped in his berries!
  I do though find some of their stands to be a bit on the pricey side. But other than that, I would highly recommend their bird services, and it's always fun to play with the feathery friends they have in the store!

  This is one of the the only places in the area where I can purchase volkman seeds and Harrison's pellets. They have a great selection of bird cages, toys, foods, and accessories. They also have a number of birds for sale. You can bring your bird with you to the store and they have vet and grooming services during certain times. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

  Awesome! I pet a baby Macaw, and held and pet the birds in the front of the store! I would recommend not putting your fingers in the cage though. Some of them really bite. If you go slow, they won't. Before you pet them, make sure you have the store's consent.

  When purchasing birds this is a great spot. Just do some research prior. They do not offer refunds back on deposits. Also be mindful of purchasing a DNA test, I had to make two trips because they lost the first one. Then took longer than the provided time frame to find out the sex of our bird. Overall a decent experience.

  I stopped by for the first time and was so amazed! They have a vast array of toys, perches, playstands, and food! And the birds! So beautiful and squaking happily. I recommend this place to anyone with parrots and anyone looking to get a quality bird.

  Great place for birds and bird stuff. Nice staff and VERY knowledgeable about birds. I think it's a little expensive, but you get quality for your money.

  The establishment is clean and full of goodies for your bird friend. The staff was lovely and very gentle with my grandfather's bird. We appreciate the services of Golden Cockatoo and the employees.

  My family has known the owner for 16 years. We used to have 2 beautiful and sweet Macaws. Golden Cockatoo was always ready to help and provides the best selection for any bird owner.
