Thought they saved the day when they called me back and told me they could fit me in between 2pm and 3pm today for an urgent leak check. I made a total of 15 calls to every sprinkler repair company I could get a hold of.
I told a few of those companies that said they could come out today to stand down because Go Grow was coming. Go Grow waited until 2:40pm to tell me something came up and they cannot make it. Apologized and said they can be here on Monday, to turn off the backflow valve (don’t know what/where that even is) and to check for puddles. So helpful.
This seems to be common practice these days. Greedy companies overloading themselves and we have to pay for it. Following through is tough these days. Great reviews but terrible service. What a shame. Now I get to figure out a new plan on a Friday afternoon. Thanks a lot!
Marcus was great. Walked me through the issues, fixed the system and even pointed out potential fixes for the future. He also got me on the schedule for blow out on the spot. I appreciate his candor and assistance.
Zack did an amazing job! Repairs turned out to be more difficult than first thought, but he stayed into evening and battling 90+ degree heat to get the job completed. Thanks Zach!
Great service today from your Tech, Gavin. He helped make some sprinkler head adjustments and fixed a solenoid problem. Much appreciated. He was on-time for us but may be late for the next appointment. Not his fault.
Disappointed with Sprinkler Pros (now called Go Grow Tek) and will not be using them again. They do OK work when they come out, but the process of working with them has been quite unpleasant. First, after waiting for close to a month to get sprinkler turn-on service, they canceled the appointment the day before they were supposed to come out. They wanted to push the appointment back by a couple of weeks after I had just bought my garden plants and set everything up for summer gardening. After telling them this was unacceptable, they finally agreed to turn my sprinklers on only a week later and gave me a $20 discount (after I pushed for it). When the tech came out, he couldn't complete all the work in the time he had allocated, so I had to schedule a second follow-up visit. They had hardly any availability over the following couple of weeks, so I could only get them to come on the one day when I was away from the house at my daughter's dance recital. The second time around, their tech only changed out a few of the tubes we had discussed him swapping out and left a bunch of old tubing that was still corroded and leaky. I called to ask them to come out again to complete the work we had discussed initially, and they wanted to charge me for a third trip charge just to come out again. They tried to make it out like they already did me a favor by giving me a $20 discount on the first trip when I would have much rather they didn't cancel on me the day before they came out. I've paid them over $220 at this point and have just a few new tubes in my garden beds to show for it. In the future, I'll work with a company that isn't so difficult to book with and that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
