I did an interview here. The manager told me that she would be interviewing for the next two weeks, sent me an email like 2 days later saying that I wasn't the candidate they were looking for. Which is funny because she told me she would be interviewing for the next two weeks oh well. It felt like unwelcoming bank and enviornment. When I first arrived , no one asked if I needed help. I had to approach them and ask about the manager interviewing me . Other than that it was just an unfriendly enivirnoment. The bankers didn't seem so nice either. But that's just my experience from going inside that bank one time and being in the lobby for maybe 30 minutes because even thought I submitted an application they made me do a hand written one in the lobby. It was honestly a waste of time and interview for the fact that she had my indeed info and resume on hand. Never again with small banks like this. Very crappy and just unfriendliness.

I have done business with Citibank, Chase and Bank of America. I have found these employees to be untrained and lacking in knowledge. They would almost always need to refer to their corporate offices to answer a banking question and need to get back to me. At Heritage Bank your questions are answered immediately by their professional friendly banking employees(not robot clerks). I strongly recommend Heritage Bank of Schaumburg for courteous personal service.

First of all the bank staff is extremely unpleasant, the banking products are NOT up to date. Fees for everything! DO NOT bank here, you will get scammed. Unlike other small banks, I have never dealt with such unprofessional people. I was lied to, I demanded to speak to the manger and the manger simply told me she didn't have time for me and asked me to leave. Unfortunately such a small bank nowhere else to complain to but here. As a hardworking individual I advise you don't bring your money to this shady "bank". These people are doing some sketchy things and will get rid of people that catch on do such illicit acts.

I recently began exploring the idea of moving my checking and savings accounts to a privately-held, small community bank. I did so because I believe that depositors' accounts at large banks (like Chase and Citibank) are more vulnerable to the risk of cyberattacks, corporate mismanagement, and the possibility that -- should they fail -- the FDIC won't have adequate capital to fully reimburse the insured account balances.
After a conversation with a pleased customer of the Heritage Bank of Schaumburg, I phoned the bank to inquire about the account opening process. First off, I was very pleased to find that they do NOT have an automated phone system requiring me to listen to a menu of options. Instead, a friendly human being answered the phone who was eager to help me (moreover, no waiting was required, and my call wasn't transferred to India). My experiences dealing with the employees of Heritage Bank of Schaumburg have been very enjoyable ever since.
When I reflect on my decision to move my accounts to the Heritage Bank of Schaumburg, my only regret is that I didn't make the move sooner!
