Great place to bring a snorkel, water shoes and a kayak and see amazing sea life and it's only 6 dollars to get in!!

We got to camp right over the dune from the beach. Wonderful spot for fishermen and beach lovers. Hiking trails were very nice.

The views are beautiful, especially at sunset. There are great walking trails, and the dunes are unlike anything I have seen in Florida before.

This park is a very good place for camping. We went there in the middle of November and the weather was very pleasant. A little cool in the morning but pleasant. Bring bug repellent! Even in the middle of November there are lots of mosquitoes.
You have access to the beach and it is a good place for star gazing. There are lots of crabs on the beach very tiny and also big ones.
There are clean bathrooms and showers there so you can easily camp for a while! It is around $30 per night and there is a cancellation fee about $20.

I was pleasantly surprised by this pristine Florida beach. Unlike many of it's neighboring beaches, there was no litter or crowds of tourists in sight, making it seem much more remote and pristine than it's neighbor St. George island.

On the long winding road through the park, on the way to the camp ground, we were treated to beautiful sand dune vistas and abundant wildlife. Deer seem to roam unafraid along the roads, and a Bald Eagle flew overhead with its catch.

There is a very nice screened pavilion available for large parties, complete with electric and wi-fi. Parking is a little slim, and lighting is to be desired outside the picnic area so bring flashlights. If you are camping, be prepared for a bit of an outdated Bath House experience. Even with that, the camp grounds are tidy and feel secluded, while still providing power and beach access. Overall a wonderful experience.

I cannot even tell you how amazing this area it. ButI will try. It'sgorgeous. Simple raw Flordian beauty. Somewhere between the white sugary sand, clear waters, and tall luscious dunes I fell in love. It is one of my favorite beaches in Florida. So pristine. So peaceful. Please don't visit.
