This park's name was changed to Rotary Park in Honor of Jack Webb by order of the Desert Hot Springs City Council in 2011. It leads to hiking trails that connect to Joshua Tree National Park. Our Rotary club put in a drinking fountain that accommodates dogs and people. In addition to being responsible for cutting the original trails, Jack Webb has contributed innumerable way to the DHS community from feeding the poor to developing generous scholarships for senior high graduates of Desert Hot Springs High School to attend college. Naming the park in his honor is a small token of the gratitude of DHS citizens.
