Best night in Big Sur!
Front desk is super friendly and helpful.
Room is rustic, clean and tasteful.
Location is convenient for day trip, hiking, etc.
I must say the best bedding lining I’ve ever seen, so soft and comfortable!
Floor heat is luxury, makes us smile!
Just wanna share the complimentary breakfast might be too light compared with the room charge, and the hair conditioner was just not my favorite!

Really nice area. Cabins are comfortable. WiFi, they have WiFi, but pretty poor connectivity. That being said, you are coming out here for the outdoors, relaxation and nature. Very nice grounds and surrounding area.

SO DISAPPOINTING. They're front desk costumer service was very poor and didn't show much concern about my situation. I had booked one of their largest cabins for 2 nights and was really excited because my fiance and I were having a small intimate elopement with only our parents attending. The event coordinator immediately declined our plans and said we needed to pay up to $3,000 just for a 10 minute ceremony and we HAD to use their restaurant afterwards. She wasn't open to communicate with us or come to any sort of agreement. With this being said, I was very sad knowing that the day I always dreamed of was ruined since marring in the Redwoods was something I always looked forward to. I ended up canceling the cabin reservations but ,again, they didn't even care.

fantastic staff. impeccably beautiful designed rooms replete with fireplaces. bathrooms had heated floors. good wifi. no tv (who needs it). friendly staff. bottles of local wine for sale in each room. friendly staff. coffee and pastries are served across the road.

Cute hotel, we stayed here one night. It was really cold and the gas fireplace is the only heat. There is a kitchen in the cabin. The firepit was broken at the hotel, so we couldn't really enjoy a fire outside. Could have been a lot better for $450.

Beautifully decorated and in a lovely location. I never write bad reviews, but I felt the customer service here lacked warmth and sincerity. There is absolutely no flexibility on booking rooms for groups unless you want to rent the entire restaurant (but food is not offered you must bring in a caterer and only night time is available). I reached out to the events department hoping to host a very small wedding with a simple daytime ceremony. The events team made me feel like my request was an inadequate waste of time. Big bummer.
