The last two times we rented from Gerken Rent-all (on Metcalf in southern JoCo) I RESERVED the items. When I got there, BOTH times, they didn't have the products in. Very frustrating!

Read the fine print, rented a small pump, 3 day rental for about $65. Find out when I return 2 days later, I owed another $70. The charge for the discharge hose too, and the "3 day rental" price was not what I got, just renter beware here

Rented a towable boom. Called on mynway back. Just about 5 pm. Was told they were closing at 5pm. Wasnt willing to wait for me. Charged me additional $88.00 to keep it over night. Louis George is the must unfriendly customer caring person i have met. Absolutely no care for customer service!

Will drive accross town and rent from somewhere that expresses customer service.

They take care of Johnson County Tree. Nathan is really helpful. They got the tools and equipment you need. Don't go anywhere else.

I've had two experiences with Gerkin. The first time the trailer I rented blew a tire on the highway. Since the trailer didn't come with a spare tire I had to call the after hours emergency line. The guy who answered the phone (from the Paola shop) told me that he didn't have anybody to come out there and put a new tire on it. After I told him that there was no spare he said "well I guess I have nothing better to do with my life".

The second time I rented a tractor and trailer again. The trailer jack broke causing me to go back to the shop to get some parts to fix it. Long story short I had to take a half day off work to fix their equipment. The lady at the front desk charged me full price for their trailer even though it didn't work. I was completely polite with her and she didn't say sorry for your inconvenience or anything.

The guys at the Overland Park shop were very helpfulthe lady at the front desk couldn't care less. Over the last two weeks I spent roughly $1,000 in rental fees. I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
