  Always felt their prices were fair. Unmatched always fresh meat selection, produce, and cold beverages! Gluten free, organic, and vegan stuff too. Always clean and well lit. Friendly staff

  A good small-town grocery store. Spartan brand products; prices are a little higher on most things than larger stores. The deli is fantastic; good prices and good food.

  Their beef is Choice.The steaks are always top notch because of that. I will not buy beef anywhere else. I do all of my shopping at Gene's. The prices are the same or better as all the stores around here. Never do I have a grumpy cashier.

  Great homemade brats, deep fried green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, onion rings, cheesey potatos, mozzarella sticks, chicken, fish, seasoned friestried them all in a huge sampler platter!

  Very nice grocer! An older building, but well-lit, organized and very clean. Lots of nice produce (even in winter), organics and dairy free and vegan stuff in addition to an exceptional-looking fresh meat counter. (I eat a vegetarian diet, but the deli has a huge selection and is very bright and clean.)
  We just moved to town from an urban area and I was so surprised to have such a great selection in a less populated area!
  The service is very friendly here, as seems to be consistent for this town in general.
