Before I made my reservation and when I was dropping off my dog I had told them to note that he is anxious and will need a bone in his kennel at all times over the weekend. I pick him up and to my surprise he has a laceration on his nose from digging at the kennel. First I was mad at the fact that they never gave me a courtesy call to let me know my dog was injured while in their care. Then, to my dismay I get home and both packages of brand new bones I supplied them with to keep my dog calm, neither of them were even opened. They disregarded my requests and allowed my dog to injure himself without even trying to distract him.
I made another reservation with them at pick-up for a week and a half I will be looking elsewhere for that week and a half and this will be a last stitch effort if I don't find anything.
I am angry and I feel me and my pet were disrespected in this situation. Just make sure your requests are on your file and fulfilled. It's truly sad my animal had to suffer because of a neglectful weekend worker.response / report this review -

If you want a vet that cant even tell you accurately what shots/treatments theyve given your dog this place is the right place for you. Funny how they told the animal shelter they didnt give my dog any shots besides her rabies but i have paper work that she got a booster as well and on a side note i was told she was up to date and just needed to be fixed. Well nope that was wrong. They said they should have sent out something about it Yet i never got ANYTHING from them. So now after having my dog for over a year she will be up to date thanks to another vet. I was hesitant to take my dog here due to horrible stories ive heard and i should have listened. I went somewhere else after my roommate was scammed out of money because they price given on the phone wasnt what they charged her and she was given no notice that it would be a higher price. (I was present for the phone call). Look elsewhere and double check anything they do and keep all paper work.

My dogs and I love the friendly staff. They do a wonderful job of explaining things to you and work with you on large bills. They treat my dogs very well and I don't worry if I need to leave them there for treatment. Great facility.

Good boarders for dogs but they could use a little better customer service. I called the week before asking about boarding for my bird while we moved so all of our animals could be at the same place. The woman who answered said that it wouldn't be a problem, they treated exotics, and she just wanted to make sure they had a place to put her so she wouldn't disturb the dogs and cats. I worked on other details of the move thinking she would call me back in a day or two but never heard back. So, I called the day before we were going to drop everyone off to confirm they had all the paperwork on my two dogs and ask whether we needed to bring a cage for our parrot. The woman I spoke with the second time said they no longer board birds and asked who did I speak with the first time the week prior. Of course, I didn't get her name because I didn't think she was lying to me, so I had to scramble at the last minute to find a THIRD vet (Riversbend is not my primary vet) to board my bird. Long review short, they're great with dogs, but considering all the hassle, I will be taking all my kids to a different vet next time. (I would have pulled my dogs if it wasn't for juggling more paperwork at the last second because I really do not like being told one thing, including that I would get called back regardless of the decision, and then never hear back at all.) Otherwise, they were very kind and helped me get both puppies in the car even though we forgot their leashes. I just wish they had told me the first time I called or shortly thereafter that they no longer boarded birds, so I could change plans based on my needs, not theirs.
