We have been coming here since I was a child and it is always wonderful. The buildings are well kept, the staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and well stocked. The beds are some of the BEST hotel beds I've ever encountered. The property has lots of activities like basketball courts, pools, a giant checker board, grills, a fire pit, ect. The activities center has card tournaments, bingo games, crafts and more. This is a wonderful place for a romantic getaway, girls weekend, or family trip.
Some of the rooms are right next to a service depot and trucks can apparently come in around 3am. Rooms are decent, but look higher quality than they actually are. Bedding isn't the best: bedspreads are those heavy stiff kind
My husband and I absolutely loved it here. We had a three bedroom each room had great views. Huge bathrooms, jacuzzi tubs and a lovely cozy fireplace. The kitchen had everything needed to cook. There was ample parking in the parking garage. Elevators and luggage carts in the parking garage made it easy and convenient since we were on the 6th floor. Within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. We are already planning our next visit here.
This resort was awesome, it was very clean and well maintained. Our room was very nice, there was a kitchenette, a fire place and a sofa. The swimming pool was in doors. The private parking are was very tight to get into (underneath the resort), but as long as you don't have an extra lifted truck you will be okay (I saw a couple of full size SUV's). Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants (about a five minute walk).
The stay was to short.
Was very pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was. The only negative is that on every online pic of this place seems to showcase the giant waterfall in the front that appears to flow into a large swimming pool. As a matter of fact we initially chose this place for the kids bc we thought it had an awesome pool with a waterfall. We were very wrong. They do have pools but the waterfall wasn't one of them. It was actually part of a giant fountain that takes up a large portion of the place. We enjoyed our stay just the same though & will definitely be back.
Not sure where some of the photos came from, but the "studio" rooms at this Motel, are barely big enough to fit the luggage cart in. The Queen is really a full, we measured. The carpets were beyond stained, the security door between rooms was left open. The crib the we called ahead for was nowhere to be found. The security guard ended up being the only one who was able to search for the crib, he didn't even arrive until midnight. Not a good experience, did not look or feel clean. The 1 star that it does earn comes from the nice desk clerk, but there was nothing that she was able to do to help out. Plus there was absolutely no parking to be found in the garage, had to park a block away. We would not even stay the night and moved to the beautiful brand new Fairfield inn down the street at 1am.
Timeshare resort that is decent and within walking distance to downtown. Only issue I had was that my room was booked on the isolated old side of the resort. The door was not well insulated and I was woken up every morning around 4 am to the outside noise of the adjacent lodging facility and their dumpster trucks/workers.
Nice place, be careful its a timeshare. Otherwise its very clean and well kept. Our rooms faced the alleyway so there was a lot of noise. Its a quick walk into downtown Gatlinberg. Very nice place
My parents are up there right now. I gave them my Disney Vacation Club Points to exchange for RCI points. The first room they put them in was filthy. The second room had bed bugs. Then, EVEN WITH PICTURE EVIDENCE, the management told us that "the rooms were inspected and only one bug was found." There is never just one bed bug. They are right this very second trying not to give me a refund on my points. My parents are stuck 10 hours away from home with no where to stay. This place is a joke and so is the management. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed here in November and was very pleased with the location of this resort. The crowds were dying down so we were able to get in and out on the strip and up into the mountains with no problem. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, eager to serve us in any way. Then it was my husband and I, our two daughters and I was carrying a baby boy in my belly. So comfort was very important. I was very pleased with our bed but next time will bring a blow up mattress for my kiddos. The pull out couch was very uncomfortable for them and they had a hard time falling asleep. Everything was clean and neat. We stayed in a newly renovated room. It was very nice. The kitchen was stocked and the area where we ate was roomy. The dishwasher, washer, and dryer worked well without problems. I was surprised to see all the fun things they have going on daily for families to enjoy at the resort. We talked about how nice it would be just to stay at the resort and hang out for a day in the summer time since there are fun things to do. Make sure you check the tub when you get in the room. If all the functions do not work call the desk and hopefully they can fix it. Ours did not work so we missed out on that feature. The room got really dry. So we decided if we ever stay there again we would have to bring a humidifier next time. We all woke up with problems with our sinuses and dry coughed through the night. That's the only negative thing I have to say is how little sleep we got from the dryness and how uncomfortable our little ones were. Other than that we enjoyed our stay there and felt at home away from home.
Great location, awesome rooms. Quiet location. Awesome location can walk to attractions and restaurants.
Great location to hang out and talk to friends. Plenty of neat shops to visit. Great layout.
Friendly staff and clean rooms. Lots of activities for all ages. I enjoyed watching people play checkers on the giant outdoor board while sitting on the balcony.
First time here, so I can't compare it to others. The employees have been very kind and helpful. The room is very comfortable, lots of things for families to do together. Overall a very nice experience.
The hotel campus is beautiful. There's a lot for a family to do without even leaving the hotel and exploring Gatlinburg. Everything is incredibly clean. My only complaint is that some of the beds are small for me. We had a suite with two bedrooms, one bedroom with one king bed, and one bedroom with two twin size beds. My feet hang off the edge of all the beds. Mind you I am nearly 7ft tall, so the average person needn't work about this. However, tall folk like myself sold be aware.
