**update*** I let Richard know the car that I wanted to drive was empty. He laughed in my face and said there was a gas station up the road.

Customer service is horrible. Cars are dirty. And if you do see something you like they don't put gas in the cars so if you want to test drive you have to supply your own gas.

When I financed my car back in december, I made sure it was known I wanted to build my credit. A big factor in me financing with gardners was because I wanted to build credit. I was told by employees that they reported to the credit bureau. After asking many people close to me that work at banks and have an extremely high amount of knowledge on credit I should call an ask why this is not showing on my credit report. I was then informed that they do not report to the credit bureau. Um what? Thats Not what your employees informed me. This business is dishonest. Knowing my reasoning on financing the car in the first place, I was lied to just to get a sale. That to me is poor business. When I called and spoke to a manager I told her the situation which I'm sure she already knew because I sit on hold for 10-15 mins because she was in the "Bathroom". She was Instantly rude as soon as she picked up the phone. I told her I felt they f***ed me over by lying to me just to get the sale. I was then hung up on for being honest. Something they clearly don't have in that office which is honesty. "Every woman in this office knows we dont report to the credit bureau". Well you falsely informed a customer that has never been late on a payment an has even paid weeks ahead that you do report. This is very poor business. Also dont expect the mechanic to help you out with any car issues. You have better luck going to a mechanic you know or even taking it to a shop. Now I'm tied up with this poor business until 2019 or until this car is paid off. Definitely won't refer this place to anybody. Especially young individuals like myself trying to establish any credit.

My family has bought cars from them since they were over on little Avenue 30 years or so ago and we have always got good cars from them so if you do not get a good car from them it's because you don't know how to drive it and take care of it plain and simple good people this is way off all businesses should be ran

*****UPDATE: A gentleman called me 10 minutes after i posted this review and asked if he could help me. I explained to him the whole problem and he said THE ONLY WAY HE WOULD HELP ME IS IF I WOULD DELETE THIS REVIEW!!!! I filed complaints through the BBB and the FTC.******
I ONLY GAVE ONE STAR BECAUSE ZERO STARS IS NOT AN OPTION!!!! I went to Gardner Auto because, honestly, I had no where else to go. I knew I would be paying high interest and double the price for a vehicle, but I needed a car immediately, so I had no option. The approval process was pretty easy, however, the day I purchased the vehicle, I got the car home and it wouldn't start. They did fix this issue. Seven months after I bought this car, I knew it needed brakes, so I took it to get it checked out. Well, the entire front end needs repaired. $1500 worth of work. I took this car to 3 different places to get estimates on repairs and ALL three places said the same things needed repaired. And I did not tell them that I had taken it anywhere else. I was even shown the bad parts and explained how they worked and what they were supposed to look like. Now, 2 weeks later, my car won't start. My 4 year old and I were stuck out in 92 degree humid weather, trying to get it to start. Finally, I was able to put it in neutral and get it started to drive it home. Now, the next day, IT WON'T start again even trying the neutral trick. I am fed up! I called Gardner to ask if I could trade it in for a car that actually works and was told that I had to pay my balance down to $1000 before I could trade it in. Mind you, I've only had this car 7 months. Then, I was transferred to the "mechanic" to see if he could help me. He told me that the only thing I could do is pay for my own tow truck and leave it with him for however long it takes, and then maybe they will fix it or not. I asked if there was a manager I could talk to and he said his say was what they will go by and he LAUGHED at me. I have sent this company at least 6 people who have purchased vehicles through them since January and this is the treatment I get?? HORRIBLE PEOPLE!! CROOKS!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! TRUST ME, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! YOU WILL GET SCREWED OVER.
