Jaime and Emil are truly excellent and exemplify what great customer service should look like. I bought my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band here and had an excellent experience. This week, 5 years later, I walked back in and was treated as family. They repaired my wife’s wedding band within a week to have it ready for Christmas and did a perfect job. I recommend this place to everyone. It is truly excellent

Jonathan was awesome ! I am very indecisive! I even came back more than twice to the store to look at rings and he was very patient with me. He took his time to show me several round cut diamonds in size as well as diff settings. I really appreciated that he never rushed me. When I had a question about something in particular he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions .

My experience with this fine establishment was nothing short of flawless. I have been to other jewelers and was completely put off by the sleazy used car salesmen pitch those jewelers all gave.

Not only were David & Sons not pushy and very informative, they also encouraged me to shop around to look for the best deal.

This Company sold a wedding band to me for $2,800 which formally appraised in writing for $1,500 from two known jewelers. Additionally, informally three others said at most it was worth $1,300-$1,500. Ashame that what I trusted as a family business would take the joy out of what is ment to be a precious moment. Do not trust their prices.

Edmond one of the owners of this fine establishment, went above and beyond when I lost my wedding ring set. They were so helpful when dealing with the insurance and showing me exactly what would be covered by the insurance. Go to David and Sons!

I recently got engaged to my now future wife and we decided on David and Sons after my brother and I did many weeks of research from jewelers all over the world. We contacted Jewelers across the USA, India and Europe. I decided on David and Sons because of the stellar reviews and friendly knowledgeable staff. We never felt pressure to buy anything and the sales staff were just as interested in educating us about diamonds as they were helping us find the perfect ring.

When I entered the La Jolla store I was welcomed warmly by the staff. The storefront is beautiful and you cannot miss it when you walk by.

I worked with Edmund as well as a few others but Edmund found out my fiance's taste in the style of ring almost instantly. Edmund explained the different metrics of how diamonds are measured, which was greatly appreciated. Edmund was very upfront and honest he even showed us under a microscope why his diamonds are the best compared to other retail chain jewelers across the United States. The unique diamond cuts and bands impressed us immensely.

I want to stress that all of the rings / bands / diamonds are one of a kind. The ring I purchased can not be found anywhere else. Since the style of ring is unique they are not advertising their HUGE selection of custom bands and stones on the web site. You need to go into the store to get the entire experience.

Edmund truly cares about his customers and clients as he was willing to stay late and work with us while we picked the perfect ring. The ring was sized the next day and was ready for pickup. Most jewelers we talked to would have taken weeks for the ring to be sized and ready for pickup…not David and Sons. They have a master jeweler in the store that allows for this quick turnaround.

Even after we decided on the ring and stone and were ready to purchase, Edmund continued to educate us on diamonds, he truly cares and wants what is best for his clients. You can sense his passion for jewelry and his commitment to his clients.

Did I mention they provide free lifetime maintenance and cleaning for jewelry you purchase from them? Well they do, which is a huge bonus. Even if it has been a few days since the last cleaning, if you are shopping at the mall they say just drop it off for an hour and it will be cleaned. This was such a breath of fresh air as some jewelers never want to see you again once you make a purchase.

I cannot stress enough how pleased me and my wife are with David and Sons. Go there. What are you waiting for? Ask for Edmund and him and his team will make you feel right at home and like family.

This place was a breath of fresh air after going to all of the other chain jewelry stores.

Customer service was top notch, the ring I bought was beautiful, and was exactly what my fiance wanted. I felt that they were extremely trustworthy and Emil was never trying to be a crazy salesman.

I can't say enough about the customer service and overall experience with David & Sons. Jaime was awesome during the engagement ring selection process and Fay was equally as good when we returned to pick out our wedding bands. On top of the service, the custom made ring came out beautiful. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Overall a 5 star experience.

Highly recommended. My husband got me my engagement ring and wedding ring and my husband wedding ring too. The staffs are so helpful. So one day the Stone in my wedding ring came out and fortunately we were able to find it.So my husband called the Manager Fay and she was so helpful.so we send back the ring and without any charge they fix my wedding ring.This place is in an upscale place and eventhen the staffs are wonderful. I will come back again as they had a lot of beautiful jewelries.Thank you David and Sons for putting a store like that his.

Over the years my wife and I have bought many items from Edmond and his brother Emil.We have never been disappointed.we used to go to the store down in Bonita Plaza. But that is no more. My daughters boyfriend purchased a ring for her the other day, and she dropped it off to be sized. She asked me to go pick it up for her. Of course it was around 430 on a Friday afternoon. Thank God for Google maps. I came into the store and asked Edmond for the ring and ask him how much it was for the sizing. He told me it was no charge. He always comes through like that. I didn't have time to window shop, but I told him that I wanted to get a new necklace since I lost a significant amount of weight and I wanted to congratulate myself with something. He said to come by when I had more time I will definitely do it not on a Friday afternoon thank you Edmund for making my daughter very happy with the ring. Will see you soon.

Best shopping experience I have ever had buying anything. For me, like most guys, starting to look for an engagement ring became a daunting task. I had never even heard of things like the clarity and color of diamonds. I just always assumed all diamonds were sparkly. I had found a ring from an online company that I was pretty set on buying, but I ended up taking a recommendation from a friend to check out David and Sons. I am so glad I did. As soon as I walked in with my now fiance we were greeted with welcoming smiles. Edmond ended up being the one that helped us. He took his time to explain everything about diamonds to me and I never once felt any pressure to buy from them. He wrote down and took pictures of everything that my now fiance liked and kept it in a folder. When we left I knew I wanted to buy from them just because of their outstanding customer service, but I still felt like an online company would be so much cheaper. A few weeks later I decided to go back in and look at pricing. I am so happy I did that. Edmond asked what my price range was and then showed me my options for diamonds. He showed me a diamond that was a little out of my price range and without me even asking he offered to lower the price so I could buy it. A long story short I can not say enough about the amazing customer service at David and Sons. They are very knowledgeable with jewelry and will never pressure you into anything. Even when I called to check on the progress of the ring being made they took the time to answer any questions I had. And the best part is that they will work within your budget and everything is custom made so now my fiance has a ring that no one else in the world has.

Quality of existing jewelry pieces as well as store appearance is excellent. Dealing with either Edmond or Emil (owners) you are instantly treated with respect and a sincere sense of wanting to make you happy. The staff is also very knowledgeable so be prepared to ask any questions/concerns you may have. The jewelry buying experience can be stressful but they try to make it as stress free as possible. As always, a jewelry purchase is expensive so make sure to properly read all the fine print as is true with anything in life.

You (hopefully) only buy one wedding ring for that special someone in your life and you want that experience to be as good as possible. This store provides just that. The best once in a lifetime experience of service to you for getting that special ring to that special someone. My wife wanted a particular design that other jewelers would not even attempt. This jeweler exceeded my expectations for the custom design of our ring at a price that was reasonable and in my opinion worth every penny. The customer service here is excellent. The staff is consistently polite and try to accommodate you the best they can. I haven't purchased any other wedding rings anywhere else so my input is somewhat limited. However if I had to do it all over again, I would come here and skip looking anywhere else. This business should be the example of customer service and fine jewelry for the rest of the industry.
