Everyone has their favorite local pizza joint, right? Well, this is mine.
Za's has been hitting the nail on the head as my neighborhood pizza restaurant for the past seven years. Whether it's dine in or carry out, they do an amazing job. And I get it- pizza preference varies wildly from person to person, but they are my favorite pie in town. Sure, there have been so misses from time to time - but consistently, I really don't think anyone does it better!
Great staff, fast service, reasonable prices, cold beer (when dining rin) and delicious pizza grub. What else could ya need?response / report this review -

First off let say this I was a regular customer!!! support local. Even with covid 19 .. I order pizza and salad and a meatball sub I went to get food.it was completely wrong . I simply ask them to remake my pizza. And the. Order Waitress when back and got. The owner Jim came to front. Say is there a problem with the pizza i said yes. It was wrong it had thing on it I didnt order so he said fine I wait another 25 minutes and. I ask if he could remake the complete order so the rest of the food would be hot for my friends and family .. he then refuse to remake the order told me to microwave the sandwich and. Proceeds to say I was. 30 minutes late to pick up order??? And I said fine never mine I'll just take a refund I wait by the window for 15 minute I never. Got a receipt of a refund and was told to check my bank!!!! Wow .. I try to support local and this is what I got.. after.years of support people wonder my small business go out of business.. it is thing like this

Best pizza and calzones in town! Great atmosphere, good beer selection, perfect for big groups or just watching the game by yourself. The staff is amazing, prices are good, I've been here more times than I can count and have never had a bad meal or bad experience.

ZA's pizza bread is my favorite. Also, just had the all meat and a veggie pizza delivered last night , delivery was fast and very hot! Best pizza in town.

Tasty pizza with a great selection of toppings and options. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great comfort food. Nice drink selection. Awesome place to relax and people-watch.

Best pizza I have ever eaten.. the 6 cheese pizza with extra cheese then whatever toppings you like .. incredible .. I drive over a hour to eat pizza here I would give this place 10 stars.

Not as good as they used to be. The meatball subs I got today had lousy buns. Too soft and soppy. They used to have really good bread for their subs. I don't know what happened this time but my favorite meatball sub just became the worst.

The pizza was excellent. We had The Works and a bbq chickens one. The only negative thing was the noise level. We could not carry on a conversation at our table.

Initially the place had a great vibe about it, a friend of mine was having a birthday, we had the back room reserved. Great time until the server came back. She took orders for drinks, and she returned telling me mine declined, and basically said you're SOL. Didn't ask if i had another card to use or cash. It was fine, right? When we told her we wanted to order some pizza, she basically threw a fit. We thought maybe the place was busy, but there were only a couple of families there. No big deal. Fast forward to end of night, buddy got plastered and he threw up, which was terrible, but we cleaned it up for them, apologizing and tipped well for the trouble. We were hanging outside the place, waiting for an uber and the same server who had an attitude came out and actually said "You guys need to ***king leave." Overall, she was unnecessarily extremely rude, food was really mediocre, bartenders have to google common mixed drinks. What? Try Bearnos or Wicks instead if you want real Louisville pizza.

Service was great pizza tasted like a frozen pizza to us, from out of town took this as a reason to eat here. 4:5 stars? Wow gave it two because the service was great, beer cold. Should have got a sub.

Za's is good pizza beer and joint with perfect spot to people watch, especially on a lively weekend night. Sit inside or out, they open the whole front to the outdoors on warm evenings.
