Our family recently ordered flowers for our mother's cremation service. I emailed the picture of what I was looking for. When we got to the funeral home I was amazed at how beautiful the flowers were they did an incredible job and I would not hesitate to use their services again. I worked part-time as a florist some years ago and this was the most amazing arrangement. Thank you J and staff!

I wanted to send my mom who wasn’t feeling well flowers. Went online late last night and they were delivered this morning! Talk about fast service!! Wow! And no outrageous delivery charges either. On top of that the flowers were even more beautiful than pictured. Thank you for the exceptional service and gorgeous arrangement. You made both of our days!!

Ordered flowers for a wake and funeral. Service started early in the day. Garden gate florist coordinates with the funeral home to determine if delivering day of or day before is more appropriate so the flowers were there on time.

There's 3 options for most flowers. For what I picked there was a $100 range. I picked the third, highest price option. I feel like I got what I paid for. The result was beautiful and matched or even exceeded my expectations.

Living on the other side of the country, I basically Googled florists in and around the Clifton Park area and found Garden Gate Florists - and thank goodness! The woman I worked with (I don't remember her name) was creative and provided good recommendations for the three centerpieces I needed for my niece's shower. The corsage I wanted for the bride was not something the staff was familiar with (I had seen it worn by a character on Dr. Blake's Murder Mysteries - a 1" wide satin ribbon to which was pinned a rose and then the ribbon was wound around the wrist and tied in a bow next to the flower) but when shown a picture, they produced exactly what I wanted! It is obvious that there is talent at this venue, but I took off one star as I believe the staff be a little more welcoming to customers, instead of making me feel as if I was interrupting something more important than even my expensive purchase.

I ordered a funeral arrangement over the phone at the recommendation of the funeral home. The flowers were no where near the ones I chose on the website and were supposed to cost $125.00 but my credit card was charged 149.00. Highly disappointing. They will never have my business again.

Nickel and dimed to death.

You should know (they hide it) that there is a $10 minimum delivery fee and a $5 service fee. You cannot see what the other versions of the flowers look like, so if you upgrade it feels like you are just giving them more money for who knows what.

In this world of fast-food and chain stores it is refreshing to find a locally-owned business that remembers the meaning of customer service. Garden Gate has been a family-owned business for 50 years. I have been a resident of Clifton Park all my life and utilized the fine service of Garden Gate for all of their 50 years of operation! They have provided exceptional service no matter the occasion; holidays, proms, weddings, funerals, birthdays they do it all professionally and with great pride in their work. I recommend Garden Gate whole-heartedly and would never go anywhere else for flowers.

This holiday season, I was so pleased with the way the staff at Garden Gate Florist handled my special request for a delivery on CHRISTMAS EVE to my grandmother. First, they were very patient on the telephone and explained in detail to me all of my options. (It is often very difficult to order flowers sight unseen, yet to have a particular idea in my head of how I want them to look.) The flowers were just beautiful when they arrived. Garden Gate did everything I asked and in fact, the flowers made my grandmother cry, Best of all they actually delivered it Christmas eve, as I had requested at the last minute, but I am sure it was a very busy day.. That was great service and I appreciate how they care about a customer. I will definitely use Garden Gate again!!!!
