BEWARE TICKS! Absolutely infested with ticks as of 8/31/16. This trail earned two stars not just becuase of the ticks but also the poor condition of the parking lot and trail itself. The trail looks much like a deer trail with sharp plants and weeds. Plenty of overgrown bushes and trees partially obscuring the way. This trail could be good if they took care of it.

BEWARE LOTS OF TICKS! The trail is nice. But you should be careful to avoid the ticks. When my wife and I stopped to check out the trail. I had about 11 ticks on my legs after walking for literally about 5 minutes. They grabbed onto my leg hair. Luckily for my wife she keeps her legs shaved so she didn't pick up any. I had to carefully remove them with my multi-tool. keep tick removal items handy If you hike this trail.
