Great Park run by the National Park Service. For Sunday it's $15 for a 7-Day pass but well worth it. The parking restrooms are close to the beach area. Not very crowded and nice aquamarine water

Beautiful blue water, not very crowded when I went, great place to relax and hear the ocean waves. White sand, perfect water temperature, great for families. Some parts of it have bathrooms, and outside showers. Very accommodating to military families.

$15 for a week pass. Not crowded Alot less people compared to Navarre Beach. Lifeguards areas. Clean restrooms. Short walk across sand to sit on water. Water was beautiful even on a not so sunny day. If coming from Navarre Beach, go down to the second Opal Beach area.

Beautiful, not too busy, parking is super close to the beach ($15 to park, free if you have a national park pass). One of the best parts is the outdoor shower to wash off and the actual bathrooms (not porta potties). Also has a few pavilions with picnic tables which is nice.

About the area/beaches: The water is fairly warm (not bath water but refreshing yet comfortable), the sand is soft and white, there's a decent amount of waves and the pictures are true where the water is clear and looks turquoise.

It is beautiful, with a tremendous amount of sea shells and at the visit time (early May) completely deserted.

This quiet little beach park is great. Pavilions with picnic tables, and clean restrooms on both the gulf side and sound side. I was wade fishing for red fish on the sound side for a few hours yesterday, great spot. It does cost $15 for a 7 day pass, but I bought an annual pass for $30.

7 miles of national beach preserve. Beautiful ocean and bay views. Bathrooms are available at the parks. Covered pavilions are available for eating. Cost is $15 per vehicle for a week (or free if you have a senior national park pass). You can pickup a decal and envelope at the entrance and drop your money in the drop box and hang your decal in your car. The park ranger will check vehicles and will pull over speeders. The speed limit is 15-20 mph so be forewarned.

I have a season pass, which is well worth it on busier months. Beach is gorgeous everywhere around here of course, but the Opal Beach has clean restrooms and picnic tables. Note for visitors: the water color and clarity depends on many factors, such as wind, time of day, seaweed presence etc, crystal clear waters are not always guaranteed. To check the current conditions, Google "Navarre Beach live cam".
