Just went to tailfins for the Christmas boat parade to eat and drink with friends and family while watching the parade!(party of 10, 4 separate checks and 3 separate tables.) Ordered chicken Alfredo while a friend ordered shrimp Alfredo. We both ended up with shrimp Alfredo. Mentioned to the waiter that it was wrong and he argued with me what he heard even though the person next to me heard me say chicken. Ended up paying for the shrimp Alfredo I didn’t order (which I dont like) and 20% gratuity as well. At check out I once again tried to make it right with the server, including problems with charging for child drinks, and 2 sweet teas that the waiter couldn’t account for but said we drank. The waiter was very unprofessional, disrespectful, and didn’t know what was where and very argumentative. I don’t usually do this review thing due to being a local of Navarre and supporting local business and knowing a chef that works here at tailfins but I am very disappointed and feel the service was unsatisfactory, especially with customers that are regulars at tailfins. I will take my business elsewhere from now on out. Hope the last $400 tab was worth it. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere! Hope they can get it together!

Uninterested waiters/waitresses. Had to ask for someone to be assigned to our table to take our orders rather than be greeted by the waiter. Food was bland. Definitely do not recommend.

Came back again and rented a pontoon boat and then had a great lunch!!!
Same nice place, the owner greeted us and was very welcoming. We enjoy the down home feel of this place.
    Great Spot for our family.
1- It had a lot of choices on the menu--some inexpensive to top dollar. Make sure you find out the dinner special--the price was good and we loved our dinner.
    2-the portions were big
3-Fish dinner was very good--big piece of fish!
4-the internet worked well and the kids were happy!
Now, that's a good night out!!!

I'm here as I write this review. And I've been here before. And every time it's same same. There is nothing to justify coming here vs AJs which is right next door. I live in Destin and I have tried tail fins so many times and it has let me down every time. In writing this at tail fins. It's difficult to describe in words their level of failure. But I would absolutely blame 90% of it on whatever DJ is playing Friday 15 Sep 17. Dude find a good song that gets people going then changes it 5 seconds later and is Like "yeaim a do:-) "

By far the worst service I have ever had in my life. Server was amazing but the cooks and managers should be absolutely ashamed for their performance. It took about 20-30 min for drinks alone. All the alcoholic beverages did not taste as they had in the past but were still drinkable. Approximately an hour and 15 min to get food that was cold. The oysters were in a puddle of water. Key lime pie was warm. Side salad was a Caesar salad with the Caesar dressing with the actual salad dressing on the side. The last item was dropped on the floor and they did try their best and tried to get the item out as soon as they could but after everything I requested to speak with a manager. 30 minutes went by till I finally had to call tailfin's two separate times to get the manager at my table so I could attempt to speak with them. After another 15 min the manager explained they had one manager on duty as well as being extremely busy. The second and third stories were not busy and the first story was only moderately busy. (Mind you I also had two managers standing in front of me attempting to fix all issues) Never again in my life will I ever go back to this Restaurant and if you would like to eat at some point I would highly suggest you do not go here as well!

Dinner was good. Boneless wings are little tiny chicken nuggets with sauce. Go ahead and pay the extra money for the pound versus the half pound. Peel and eat shrimp nothing to write home about but decent. Fries were great! Beer prices ridiculous! Especially the "local" brews $9.50 for a draft beer!!!!!!!!!!!!' Prices aren't listed for a reason! If you order a drink ask the price or you will be shocked when handed your tab!

We had a party of thirteen and they got us a table in 15 minutes! Every other place was a 2 and 1/2 hour wait. We got a table all together and ordered our food fast thinking it would take an hour to get the food. We were gladly mistaken they got our food in under 30 minutes and it was all perfectly done. No mistakes were made on our order and they made sure every thing was good before heading away. Food was super delicious and I was very happy and left very pleased and super full. I would recommend this place to any one!! The service was out of this world amazing. The girl said she was only 2 Weeks new but didn't an amazing job to make sure our service was awesome. The manager personally came to check on us and any one who passed our table made sure we didn't need anything.

Staff was friendly, but scatter brained. The food was not good, and way too over priced. They lost the reservation that was made for our bridal party.

We got the Daddy's Nasty Nachos and they were great. The food came out fast, we had a great view of the harbor and the beer was reasonably priced. We'll definately come back.

Family visited for late lunch/ early dinner on a Friday. We enjoyed our meal on the second level facing the harbor. Gorgeous view and nice atmosphere at that time of day for the family!

Our server was Rachelle--she was great: very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and she made great suggestions. The crab claws were seasoned very well and the size was good--larger than crab claws we had at other local restaurants. The portion size was good, too.

Prices were reasonable and portions generous. Only complaint is the sign on the boardwalk to draw you in was a bit confusing to understand what the advertised special was. The sign led us to believe the special was $11.99 from 4-6, but that was really the lunch special (?). The "special" for dinner was really $21.

    Definitely recommend and would return!

Wow, you can't beat the location there on the Harbourwalk! We ate lunch up top on the highest deck overlooking the Gulf and marina. Our server was Cory and he was available, friendly, knowledgeable server and ensured a most enjoyable dining experience. We started with a local craft beer on tap, the 30A Beach Blond, which was excellent and we each had the special of the day. That was blackened fish tacos served with fresh chips and salsa and seasoned rice. All were terrific, esp. the tacos. The Special was considerably more affordable at $10 than other items. The baked oyster appetizer choices had some creative toppings, but was too much for 1130 am.
I love everything about this place!
