Service was nothing shy of excellent. I had the bass over red pepper grits. From the wine and appetizer to dessert, our food was spectacular. Would definitely recommend!

Host/owner took us in on a Sat night w/o reservations. We sat at the bar and had an amazing feast. Sprouts and shrimp/grits were amazing. Mahi was absolutely outstanding. Trout was phenomenal. Can't say enough about food and the service. Bartenders we're extremely knowledgeable about gluten free options, which is not common. If I lived in the area, this would be a regular stop.

The food is consistently great. I had lamb shanks this time and they were very good. The chocolate mousse for dessert, though, was amazing. We frequent the restaurant about 1-2 a year because it is on the pricer side for Columbus, but it is worth it. We usually take home some leftovers, but we also get appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The service is attentive and is always consistent. The atmosphere is the only drawback and that is because it is just alright. We will be back again.

This place is amazing. One of my favorite spots in Columbus. The ambiance is so nice, the staff is warm, knowledgeable and friendly. The food is to die for.

Loved our experience here! The service was great, very attentive, professional, and friendly. The food was incredible! We each ordered something off the specials menu --a ribeye steak and the trout. Both had amazing flavors and prepared perfectly. I would highly recommend.

I always enjoy myself when I go to G. Michael's. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, and the food is top-notch. The menu is always changing with the season, so it pays to keep coming back.

The staff is so friendly and nice that would be enough but the food and service surpassed my high expectations. We can't wait to come on a Monday. You have to order shrimp and grits.

Consistently one of the best restaurants in town. Being going there for 15 years and it still hits the mark. Must try the shrimp and grits and you cannot go Erin with anything on the menu.

Probably one of the best dining experiences we've had in a very long time. This place is a "do not miss" in German Village. Sometimes fewer words are more. Get in there!

A lot of reviews here about the Shrimp and Grits (a menu staple), and they are great. But definitely venture off into the menu and try something different. Chef's seasonal menu is full of surprises. My wife and I make this our "go to" choice for dinner every time we go out. LOVE G. Michael's!
