  Good appetizers and choice of beers. Fast and friendly service. Comfortable atmosphere.
  
  Update. Dined here 10/2017. Dropped rating from five to three stars based on last visit. Stopped in for dinner and we got a couple of wraps. Service was good and the place was clean. The chicken and steak wraps were mediocre at best. Not a typical meal I have received in the past. There was no way that there was four ounces of meat on either wrap maybe close to that with both wraps combined, but boy were they stuffed with greens. Not worth the the price of either wrap. I won't be ordering those there again. Maybe someone in charge should check out their kitchen output. Things might be slipping. I will try here again and hope for better results.

  Had a foreign object in my soup. Hmm. Lovely view of the pigeons in downtown Negaunee. I'll stick with the Barf-and-chew.

  I want everyone to be aware of the HORRENDOUS experience my family and I just experienced at the Pit.
  
  We got to the restaurant at about quarter to 6 this evening. We were the only people in the back eating area (and only a few others in the bar area). We ordered our food, got our appetizer, and things were going good. As more and more people started filing in, we were noticing a pattern Those arriving after us were getting their food before us 🤔
  
  Long story short, our waitress comes to the table to tell us "the kitchen lost your slip, should be only 5 more minutes". Alright. We waited about 30 minutes, what's 5 more? Well, 20 more minutes pass by, still, no food.
  
  Finally, after the majority of people who arrived after us were already out the door with full bellies, we finish our food and are waiting on the bill. My father tells my mom, my boyfriend and myself to go wait outside. 10 minutes later, he comes to the car and says he spoke to the owner, and she did absolutely NOTHING. NO APOLOGY. NO MINOR DISCOUNT FOR THE WAIT. NOTHING.
  
  I am absolutely beyond DISGUSTED with the way we were treated this evening. Honestly, being more open about possibly making an ordering mistake or even, I don't know, APOLOGIZING would have been well and good. But she just kept making excuse after excuse and that just doesn't cut it.
  
  I used to go to the Pit about once a month for a burger date with the boyfriend, but NO MORE. I will NEVER step foot in that place again. I just wanted to make people aware of the way my family and I were treated at this establishment and hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

  Was recommended by a bartender in Marquette.it did not disappoint! Delicious food and a very nice overall feellooks like it be fun at night too with the live entertainment!

  The burgers here were SOOOOO good, the beer is delicious, and the staff is SO kind. A MUST if you're out in Marquette.
  Absolutely definitely please support this wonderful business!

  Best food in Marquette County. Wings, wraps, burgers and fish Taco's are all outstanding! In house sauces and good quality ingredients and food!!
