Food was excellent. Great location and view of the ocean. Wait for food was a little long. Otherwise, service was good. Bacon wrapped shrimp was very good!

Love the food! Everything went well. Only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 was the long wait to get our order taken. Was not overly busy in the restaurant. Our waitress just disappeared and seemed to forget we were waiting on her. Had to flag her down after about 15 minutes. Will go again. Food was very tasty. All 4 of us liked our meals.

I had a fruit salad. It was great. My only request is that they offer more vegan options. Fantastic coffee. My friend whom is not vegan had the Lobster breakfast (eggs with lobster over English muffins). Service is great. View is amazing. Loved it.

I really enjoy Funky Pelican, the food, the service, atmosphere. The only knock (and it's huge for me) are the little friends they have running around. Only they're not so small. I have a tremendous fear of roaches and at our recent visit, I observed two of them on the wall and ceiling - they seemed to be buddies. The were huge. They could fly. Everything else just faded to black - I wasn't taking my eyes off of them. I didn't want them on me. There was even a trap device in the bathroom. I hate that I can't go back because everything else about this place is so cool. I realize it's Florida (and you keep the doors open to the ocean side) but, bugs in the dining room could mean bugs in the kitchen. Please fix the bug problem and I'll return.

Came over to Palm Coast for a photo shoot and found Funky Pelican via google maps. I’m already craving the blackened shrimp tacos! Service was excellent, atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was delicious.

We will definitely return next time we are over that way.

The wait staff was friendly and the views from inside. Were wonderful. Seeing the ocean while you eat is always peaceful. The food we all had was delicious. I had the Blackened Shrimp Tacos, someone in the group had Grouper, and the last person had a special that was chicken wrap with a sweet file sauce and it came with side salad with fruits in it. I was able to try a little of each and have to say it was all good. I would say if you are in the area you need to try.

Excellent food. Price for portion was very good. The atmosphere is casual, fun and offers an amazing view of the ocean. Indoor and outdoor dining available. Service was fantastic. We did not have to wait, although it was full. I would say if there were to be a wait it would be well worth it for sure.

Great service from hostess counter and our waitress. Smoked fish dip was very good, added celery sticks per our server which was a good choice. Shrimp and grits were amazing, came out quick and hot. Cream sauce was spicy And the grits were floated in it which looked nice. Nice views of the beach and Pier

Great place for late lunch/early dinner. They have decent across-the-street parking, unlike many restaurants on A1A in Flager. Staff is friendly and the service us great. They have lovely outdoor seating that looks out towards the pier. All the food was delicious.

Had a wonderful time in a great little town! The namesake drink was excellent, enough booze in it even for a big fella. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. Tacos were on point and the smoked fish dip was the best we had on the trip. The view of the pier and the surfers couldn't get any better, can't wait to return!

The view and atmosphere are great. The "greeting" from the hostess was cold. She didn't even look at us much less smile. Ordered the onion straws as an appetizer, flavor was good and they would have been enjoyed minus the hair and some type of fried seafood we found inside. Lobster tacos are ok, but not impressive. Server was on top of us anytime we needed anything. Good job by him.

We had lunch here on Easter Sunday. We had a large group, but were quickly seated. Service was great and the food was delicious. I had the fried fish, and others at the table had shrimp and grits or other interesting entrees. I wasn't expecting it to be such a pleasant experience. This was my first visit, but I plan to return.
