I have always loved Friendly's. Too bad most of them are gone.
This place is pretty good. Parking lot is odd. I have got the same thing for 40 years. Reeses Pieces Sunday. The large one.
Horrible place. Went on a Saturday night a little after 9. First off the smell of the place is horrible. You can barely tolerate it enough to eat. It smells like someone had dogs in desperate need of a bath and let them roll all over the carpet along with a mix of funky gym locker. We were seated quickly but it was downhill from there. We sat for almost 10 minutes. There were 3 other families and all were eating so why the wait? The manager stared in my face without a word watching us wait. Just as we were about to leave our server finally came. A lady with a bunch of kids and one adult came in and the manager jumped to greet them and seat them and made small talk. Hmm wonder what's makes them so special? The groups conversation as they sat behind us was rather offensive. The food arrived 10 mins after we placed our order and I immediately ask for to go containers. I was over the smell, the service, and the group behind me. Total waste of money and my 4yr old was extremely disappointed he didn't get to order ice cream.
I decided to have a small gathering of 15 people for my son's birthday. The food was good. The kids enjoyed themselves. The service was terrible. I do not plan on going there again.
I've been going to this Friendly's for 19 years. Two of my kids worked there. It's my youngest child's favorite restaurant. It's okay. The service can sometimes suck because this one is very small and tight and their new set up of big tables is a bit awkward. Also, it's really over priced. We try to only go when we have a coupon.
Been to Met life many times. Always a great experience.
Nice place to have a bite but can get very busy meaning a wait.
Many years since eating at a Friendlys.
Fishamajig and Fribble as good as I remembered.
The type of people this place attracts isnt the best, but it comes with the territory (literally). The food is sufficient, and the Ice Cream is as good as it ever was. I wouldnt eat here regularly, but its good for an occasional trip down memory lane from childhood, or if you are introducing someone to it for the first time. Enjoy!
Everyone has beat up this restaurant, but I have always had a good experience here. My only complaint is that there is usually a wait and very little seating while you are waiting. The food has always been above average and the service has always been good. We go to this Friendly's 6-12 times a year. I love their Swiss Chocolate, and if you have ever looked for this recipe online, you know it is hard to find. They do a high volume and this could account for some of the times when they ran out of certain menu items. I recommend it as a family friendly place to eat a simple, inexpensive meal.
this is more of a star than I want to give maybe one of the stars poimt. This is not the first time I've come here and they do not have New England clam chowder. Being Lent you would think the manager would be prepared and have ample supply of the soup.
The waitress was nice the food portions was just right and the ice cream was good too I recommend everyone should go I plan on going back in the future
Have to say this was a very nice restaurant. Service was good, kind and friendly. Better than the Friendly's on route 46.
Was just their last night was rushed and soup was cold with frozen pieces in soup. Thought highly of this restaurant but now have second thoughts. Very upset.
The Customer service is terrible and the food is horrible You can order your food the way you want it but they gonna give you what they want to give you the cutlery was completely dirty and the pancakes I ordered didn't look anything like what was on the menu I had big burnt sugar whole in the center of each of my pancake witch was hard My experience at this location was just terrible..
Notified the manager of a dead 1.5 inch cockroach in the light fixture above the first table as you walk in to the place and he tried to bet me 20$ that it was a dead fly. I one piece of advice to this guy. You don't make bets on the health problem of your restaurant. Not only there was a roach in the light fixture but the extremely noisy freezer next to my table made it uncomfortable to enjoy my meal which was good. No problem with the food here, just the manager and his dead roach. The light fixtures on the way into the place had many dead flies too.
