It was pleasant. Staff was nice and very helpful since it was My first time..
Nice food, clean tableware, a little bit noise at night.
Good food, but it gets old quick due to the lack of variety
Good service and okay food. Great times and a nice atmosphere.
Food is same as school lunches throughout primary education, only difference is a bigger variety of food.
There are a lot of food options, they charge each day, and there's good, healthy meals available.
Best place on campus for breakfast food. It's honestly a hit or miss, some days will hit the spot, other days it definitely won't. Great staff working around the clock, special Sedi, the cashier. She is friendly, relatable, and caring. She greets you with a wide smile and engages with you. She's always helping around and willing to assist you with any thing you may need. She is a great staff overall.
Mediocre food and very few options for vegetarians, but friendly staff. Can't blame them that they don't have access to quality ingredients. The only thing that I would say is outstanding is the micro greens they grow for the salad
Ike's has an open cafeteria feel to it, a contrast to the more restraunt/coffee-house vibe Southside gives off. As the Freshmen's primary dining hall, there's a variety of food they offer daily of an average to above average quality. The occassional dining events, such as the Thanksgiving Lunch, are outstanding. If you're not a GMU student with the Unlimited meal plan, the cost is $10 for an all-you-can-eat style meal (there may be discount rates, such as for children, but I'm not sure). If you're eating on campus often, I recommend Ike's. If you're eating on campus for just a single meal, I'd recommend Southside or The Globe over Ike's - they generally offer more variety or higher quality food, if not both.
