I have no words for the level of food this restaurant. Made me feel like I was at home. A must try!

I have no other experience with Russian food to compare this too. I only know that the food here is amazing. I am rarely in Newport. I've been to this town only three times in the last couple years and each time I have eaten lunch at Grill 73. It's that good. Personally I recommend any of her specials that include the cream sauce, the pork sandwich or the Russian salad. (also the iced tea is the best I have ever had.)

Drove by several times before noticing "Russian". Stopped on purpose. Wanted to try borscht but not an entire bowl without knowing what beet soup might taste like. Gave me a taste big enough to share. Family tried and enjoyed other items. I love borscht! Try to stop whenever in area (schedule doesn't always match ours.

This grill has the best Russian food I have ever had! The beef stroganoff is amazing and the fresh hand patted hamburgers are beyond compare! I strongly believe that if you haven't tried them you are missing out!

If you like Russian food & places out in the middle of nowhere, then Grill 73 is for you. I really enjoy stopping in here to eat. The food is always fresh & wonderful, the two owners are very friendly, & the layout of the restaurant is unique but not in a bad way. The only things that keeps me from giving them 5 ★'s would be that there is a long wait sometimes with service, there are no refills, just a 16oz bottle for soda, & you have to tell them your tip total at the table before they run your card. Beyond those complaints I do really like this place & recommend anyone with patience stop in, the wait, though long, is worth it.

Owner was a nice Russian Lady who cooks from scratch. The food was very good and my kids loved it. Pirochkes were super good and unique. Mashed potatoes and Russian food was great. We'll be back. Cool place for something different!

WOW amazing food the cabagge rolls and crepes will bring me back here.

The owner is a nice Russian (I think) lady who is also the cook and very nice. The inside is spotless and bright the food was hot and very fresh.

I asked if she made it all fresh, she said she doesn't even have a can opener in the kitchen. Fresh meats and the only real thing frozen in the kitchen was french fries.

Great food at a good price local owners what could be better? Go try Russian food you will enjoy the experience.

Everything is home made. Owners (husband/wife from Russia) are great & they rehabbed the entire building with their own hands. They work just as hard preparing the food. Guaranteed to be a great meal. In fact, I'm not sure I can think of a better home cooking that I've had. Don't be shy, eat her Russian dishes. Tremendous

We were traveling back to NC and just happened to find this place by sheet luck. It is clean, the owner / hostess / chef was very personable, and the food was awesome. I have traveled all over the world and sampled a lot of food, but this was quite possibly some of the best food I have had. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you're ever in the area, I would definitely give it a try. I know I will again.
