My daughter and I where on our annual Frankenmuth Christmas trip. My daughter wanted to go to the Frankenmuth Brewery. She ordered her favorite, pulled pork. I made the mistake of ordering a ruben sandwich. The bread was soggy with sauerkraut juice and one slice of corned beef that was nonexistent. That was the second time I had been there and didn't care for it the first time. My daughter wanted to go there. One place I will absolutely never go back to.

Decided to head to Frankenmuth and went straight to the brewery for lunch. Since we were there a little early, we were given a free choice in seating so opted to sit at the back so that we could see the river.

For lunch I ordered the bratwurst minus the sauerkraut, so they offered me wild rice instead (a nice touch!)

    Lunch was very tasty.

They have a fine selection of in house beers and I sampled 4 of their 2oz tasters. This is an excellent way to try a few of their beers. All in all, good beer, great food and a perfect setting

    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
My wife and I were extremely pleased with taste of the food but the terrible service completely cancels the food experience. We received our drinks when we arrived and were never offered a refill, ketchup was empty even thou I had fries, waiter never returned to check on our meal, refill our drinks or pick up our payment for the meal. The manager had to take care of it. My wife watched the manager approach the waiter, after the manager left the waiter, our waiter turned to another waiter, then looked at us and they each laughed. At the beginning of our meal we were talking about returning during the daylight to enjoy the view of the river but I guarantee that we will never patronize this place again.

I used to love this place but the more experiences we've had the less pleased I am. No major issue just little things that start to outweigh the benefits of average tasty but pricey pub fare. I know they're a brewery but it would be nice if they had a full bar. I used to love their Dunkel but they quit carrying it, and my server had no suggestion for an alternative so I drank water. My son spilled a water so we used all our napkins; dinner came and server didn't think to bring more.

The food here is the best in town, in my opinion. The patio is my favorite place to hang out. Inside the brewery can get loud. The brews are classic and well done with a few creative offerings mixed in. I have always enjoyed good service and friendly staff here.

Frankenmuth Brewery, this was our first visit to Frankenmuth and we stayed at the Marv Herzog Hotel. Frankenmuth Brewery was just a short walk up the hill from the Marv Herzog Hotel, so it was an easy choice on this stormy evening. Our server was friendly and attentive and made this a fun visit. I tried the rack of ribs and they were excellent. If you stop by, I'd be interested in hearing your opinion. Enjoy

Drove from GR to enjoy what used to be a great meal. Waste of a drive and money. Menu reduced, removing many great items. Disappointed, nothing looked good so ordered Chili. Bad choice. YUK.tasted like Hormel canned chili. Realize it's a brewery.must be banking on drunk taste buds. Will never go back and we've gone there for years. We should've left to begin with.

I grew up in Frankenmuth and have eaten at the brewery on and off my whole life. Ever since they got a new chef, new kitchen, new menu, and more beers, the food is the best I've ever tasted it and the menu is diverse--lots of great vegetarian options. Best food in town! Yum! We've been here two nights in a row. Great outdoor seating with a view of the Cass River.

If you are here for the beer, enjoy yourself.

However, if you are looking for food that you enjoyed in the past, you will be in for a huge disappointment.

All of the food items that made this place worth visiting or even traveling out of your way for, are gone now. The lobster pasta was simply awesome. But what really made this place stand out was the French Onion soup. I simply cannot understand why they would have done away with such a wonderful and delicious menu item. In fact if you look under the heading soups and salads on their menu there are no soups at all listed.

We now have no reason to even visit this place. We are hoping that sometime in the near future they bring back some of the wonderful menu items that are now gone.

My husband and I go to Frankenmuth often and this was one of our favorite places but our last two visits were awful. In fact this last time we went and were seated right away, there were only about 5 other tables besides ours but we sat there for 15 minutes without a server ever coming to our table. We saw both of the servers talking at the end of the bar and they did see us but never came over. We brought our friends with us that time after telling them how much we liked this place. It was embarrassing. We left and sadly will not be back and neither will our friends. They were not impressed. We did let the hostess know we were leaving and why and she said they were short staffed but it wasn't busy at all.

Fantastic food, great service. Highly recommend the Frankie's BC rolls!

Beer list is very developed and has a taste for every bud. Prices are very reasonable at around $6 a pint.

Menu could use chicken option on pizza. No meat on most pizzas. Please add Salad option. The service was great for us. We also had good people sitting around us. Good band music. a really good beer with the Simcoe s.m.a.s.h.

Always our favorite. They are doing kitchen renovations right now, so they are serving only pizza. But their specials are great and their pizza is better than Dominos. Our server, Chad, rocked. We have always friendly service and that is part of what keeps us coming back!
