HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Spent 2 nights in December at the campground with our travel trailer. Windy and cold the first night, but nevertheless a beautiful night right on the lake. Full hookups (W, E & S), including cable. Total of 9 RVs in the park this time of year, mid-week. Grounds and individual sites are very clean. Restrooms and shower facilites are IMMACULATE (as well as heated). Very friendly staff. Tom was very helpful on arrival.
This was our first time at this park and it came highly recommended to us by friends. Not much to see or do in town of Opp just 2 miles away, but if you enjoy a nice, clean campground with lakeside sites, this is it. (Even primitive campsites are on the water's edge.)
You can reserve a spot in the campground, but NOT a specific site. Not a problem though as all by 6 sites are on the water (those 6 are back in treeline to break any wind and probably quieter during the summer crush). But all sites are wide and nicely accessed whether back in or one of the 4 or 5 pull thrus (we were on #16).

Many beautiful Waterfront sites not that far from Florala if Florala is full. Primitive spots are nice too with one up near shower house. Close to downtown also so that you can camp and then go back and get supplies even in the dark.

A very nice park with large beautiful lake. Campsites were spacious and easy to get into. Good bicycling & walking. A playground for the kids. Loved the Scarecrows in the Park while we were there in Nov.

It's a great place to bring the family for outdoor activities like boating, fishing, biking, walking and camping. We always have our family reunions at the pavilion and love it.

Awesome find! Clean bathrooms, warm water showers, good access to hiking/walking. The campground offers wifi and it's very strong everywhere on the property which is helpful if you've been on the road for a while.

Just enjoyed an awesome July 4th fireworks show there. I've been a few times before and the park is clean and plenty of shade. Nothing amazing but a nice place to just jump in the car and go. They have plenty of nature walkways, a boat dock, grills etc.
