Great little park if you have kiddos. Plenty of room for them to run around and plenty of stuff for them to climb on

The park is Gorgeous! The animals are so friendly and wonderful to watch! There are ducks, geese, cranes, squirrels, chipmunks, and all kinds of birds. Spectacular!!! The walking trail is just over a mile long and the views are amazing. They have kiddie playgrounds for the toddlers and then a bigger playground for older children. They even have handicapped swings! Musical instruments to peak everyone's interest. The picnic pavilions all have charcoal grills so bring your family out and have a wonderful day!

Great family fun here! You can let the kids play on their own playground, then meet you at one of the picnic tables or covered tables for your meal. You can watch the ducks swim by the beautiful fountain, bring your dog to the dog park and get exercise. There's a walk/run trail for anyone interested. There's even occasional free concerts where you bring
lawn chairs and blankets! Once a year, they allow senior citizens to fish free of charge. So, when your looking for something to do on the weekend, or just a few hours during the week, this is a great place!!! 😄

The park itself is beyond 5 stars.it's the people that frequent the place that sadly ruin this beautiful place of peace. I am shocked each time i go there which is weekly at the amount of trash laying about, and tossed into the lake itselfand it stays there! Yesterday there was a dirty diaper left on the bench where i sat to feed the geese. There should be a park/rec person that works for the city that goes there weekly to clean up this placemaybe even twice a week. Then you have all the dog walkers that gladly let their dogs poop everywhere and leave it there even though there are doggie bags available and signs posted to please clean up the poop. Then there is the children left unattended. Just yesterday i saw 3 hispanic young boys throwing rocks at the geese and their parents no where to be seen. I stopped them immediately. There needs to be small dumpsters or trash cans posted all along the walk path where poop/bottles/trash can be dropped off. People just toss things everywhere so maybe it would encourage them to put their trash in a can. We can always count on humans to ruin a beautiful placei wish i had more time to help clean it up over there but i have a career and family too. People need to take pride in places of beauty and natureit's really a shame. Come on people!

Has several different places or 3 year old loves to play in. There is also a running/walking sidewalk around the whole thing and around the playground.

The area is very well kept. Excellent place to walk around their path, enjoy nature and relax. There are pavilions around to use and a fun looking playground area.
