We visited on a Saturday and we're pleasantly surprised to find out that there were shootout reenactments in the street. Then, I discovered one of the shops there sells hot pepper plants, so I was also able to pick up a Carolina Reaper plant to grow, and some Carolina Reaper seed pods to cook with. Finally, to tell the whole thing off, we decide to finish our trip off in the saloon. Little did we know that there was live country music being performed on the back patio. We step outside to enjoy the beers there, and are invited up to the stage shortly thereafter to sing with the performer. All in all, this can be a really fun place.

A unique and fun place to go. Not so easy if you have walking problems though. My walker got bogged down in the gravel several times. A fun place for old and young alike. Unfortunately not everyplace is always open. Wanted to your bordelo but it wasn't open. Only on weekends we were told. Great photo opportunities for all.

It was a beautiful December day in Apache Junction, Arizona. I went on the train ride, the Mine Tour and visited the Mystery Shack. Everyone was friendly and I always enjoy the plethora of old equipment laying around the town. My brothers and I ate lunch at the Mammoth Steak House. I had the burger and my brothers went with the Mammoth Chicken Sandwich. It was very tasty. Highly recommended.

We took some of our family here who were visiting from out if town. It was such a fun place to walk around and take pictures. We really appreciated the fact that you didn't have to pay to get in. We were able to participate in a lot of activities because we didn't have to pay an entrance fee for everyone. The zipline was fun and was great for older age kids. The shops had some great little souvenirs that my kids picked out. The kids loved the shooting gallery. My family had a blast! Definitely bringing my kids back soon for another day trip.

With no “Price of Admission” one might not expect much, however, Goldfield delivers in all spades.
There are several attractions here each with their own admission fee so you’re only paying for what you want to do.
The town and it’s shops are top notch reproductions that really give the look and feel of the town they are portraying.
With gunfights down main street on the hour starting at high noon it’s a cheap and enjoyable experience for those in the area.

It was my first time here and we stopped for lunch at Minors grill and ice cream parlor. amazing! Best burger I've had in a lot time and great prices! We brought our dog and sat outside with him. They gave us water and we got a little bowl of vanilla ice cream for the spoiled pup. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Super friendly people. Prices on drinks and snacks were insane so we didn't purchase any. 1.50 for a can drink. Train ride and mine tour were very informative. Worth the trip!

Great place to visit for a few hours. They have places to eat, stores selling various things, specialty items and souvenirs. They also offer a train ride around the area and a tour of an old gold mine. They also have a museum you can go through and even an old cemetery that was interesting to walk through for historic information. I highly recommend this place for a good family place to visit!

Pretty views. Good place to walk around with the whole family. They also have a nice little train ride on property. If you like the old west, this is your place. The photo shop is great. Nice place to take visitors from out of town. Food is pricey I wouldn't recommend eating here. Take lots of water with you if you have kids.

Great place to take photos. Also an awesome little train ride that is education and the driver Bill is a friendly and knowledgeable fellow. The town looks like something right out of the old west. Also the lady clerk is super friendly she is the one that sells the train tickets. There is a zip line ride which was super fun but way way over priced, 12 dollars per person per ride is highway robbery. We stopped by for an ice cream which was pricey but nothing near the zip line cost. I'm much happier spending $9 for two ice cream cones on a hot day. Actually me and my girl couldn't get through it all in one day so we will have to go back and report more.

This is a great family outing. We rode the train, panned for gold, met great people and had a blast. You can do as much or as little as you want in a day! Admission is free and the town folk are colorful and friendly. We have been many times now in the last three years and each time we find something we didn't see the last time. This place is just plain ole fun!

We arrived at 1030 am on a Saturday, before the rush. Loved the underground mine tour and amazing house. Informative and fun. My favorite part was the gun slinger enactment. It is hourly, so pay attention to times.

This is a small theme park of sorts. As the name suggests, it is based on an abandoned gold mining town motif. Attractions my family noticed or experienced were a restaurant, zip line, shooting gallery (laser), haunted shack, panning for gold, train ride, reptile exhibit and various gift shops with new attractions being built at the time of our visit. From what I could tell each business is independently owned and operated. Side-show-style a separate fee is charged at each attraction without a charge for initial admission. The location is close to National Parks and other attractions. A great place to stop for a few hours of diversion.

This place is fun to go visit and walk around. It has some neat little shops selling all kinds of unique items. Love the cactus store that sells all kinds of live souvenirs you can take home. Great for visitors who want to take home a piece of Arizona with them. We always get ice cream when we go as well. The ice cream is delicious and the little shop is cute. Fun place for the entire family. We haven't had a chance to do their tours yet but they look interesting. They have a few to choose from and they have a train that goes around the Ghost Town and tells you the history. Nice stop after a hike at Lost Dutchman State Park.
