Very informative! Visit in Spring or Fall for best experience. It was hot and the fort doesn't have shade. Worth the heat though!

Take a trip back in time to see how the British soldiers lived. Very interesting and educational. Wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking and climbing to see everything. Also has a great gift shop with books telling the story of Fort King George.

We have been to the Alamo in San Antonio and this historic site is better by far. The day we went, there was a guy dressed as a Redcoat and he really played the part to a tee. He told great stories and shot a long rifle and made the visit feel authentic.

A very well done state historic site with reconstructed fort, living quarters and other buildings. It's just a few minutes off the interstate and well worth stopping.

Really cool replica fort. Built using old joinery techniques. Nice interpretive center too. My wife liked the nature walk. Keep in mind that the fort is on the edge of a salt marsh and mosquitoes are a real possibility. They actually sell repellent in the gift shop!
