Lovely park with large spaces to accommodate any sized rig. Lots of trees, ponds, river access and several nice trails. Close enough to downtown Brunswick and within 10 miles of St. Simons and Jelyll Islands. This is a good place to stay if you can't get a spot on St. Simons. However, the huge downside to this beautiful place is the stench coming from the pulp factory across the river. This factory fires up Its "machines" and the noice is relentless along with the foul odor. We had to close our windows and put the A.C. on, even tho it was cool outside. So much for staying in the great outdoors! We won't come back.

Camped here twice and we really like it. Just west of the interstate in Brunswick. It has a great swimming beach on the little lake that also offers kayak/canoe rentals as well as fishing. Camp fire wood is delivered to your site? Excellent large shaded sites and clean public shower rooms. There is boat access to the river that will take you all the way out to the ocean or to visit Jekyl and St Simons islands. Hiking trails as well as primitive camping. I did check out the primitive sites and they were some of the best I've seen within walking distance of the beach. Also very affordable.

My wife and I have been there twice in last 10 months. I have to say we both where impressed with the care that the staff puts into the park.the sites are spacious and lots of shade and privacy. Laid back atmosphere.the marina is great as well makes us want to get a boat.office has no camping supplies other than ice and wood. But plenty of stores nearby to get supplies.

Just a little park. Plenty of picnic pavilions to have parties or get togethers. A playground area for kids, camping area, fishing pier, swimming area in the lake. The gnats are sometimes bad at this park due to all the surrounding water and trees. So I would bring but spray when you visit.

Good campsites with full hookups great for campers/rvs and tent camping. Friendly staff. Ice and firewood on site. Lake had dining area. Good clean bathrooms.

The rangers at the boat ramp are very good & know what they are doing. I appreciate them. I have camped here several times before & enjoyed it. Clean restroom/shower areas. Camping areas are neat & clean as well.

This camp is a very nice place especially for friends and family. There is also many activities such as canoeing, freshwater fishing, saltwater fishing, bike trails, swimming, and a playground etc. My family and I have been going here for about 3 years now every summer and we continue to recieve well kept bathrooms and lots and very kind and respectful staff. I would recommend this place for many people.

Great campground, well kept, staff very helpful. Like it except summer to many bugs. Go to SugurBakers bakery close buy great pastries. Shrimp processing place close by fresh good for boiling at site. Fishing great all hook ups

Needed a place to stay while visiting family last March. They were very accommodating in every way.
The park is clean and beautiful located.

We didn't spend a lot of time here but it seemed like a nice park. We stopped on a trip from Florida to North Carolina because it was so close off the highway, about the middle of the trip & it had good reviews. We walked on the pier where people seemed to be catching many fish and went a short way down a nature trail near the pier and pavilions! The pavilions had a lot of seating available which was nice! We didn't explore into the camping area or any further but from what we saw it was a nice park!
