This place is absolutely terrible. Gloves are not used while prepping food. Have a shellfish allergy? Don't expect them to care at all. If your food is dropped on the floor, it's picked back up and put back on your plate.
The place is disgusting and filthy because there is absolutely NO structure or discipline or guide lines at all so no one does anything. The blue cheese dressing is more than likely moldy, with the mold scrapped off.
The sour cream is more than likely expired. Check the rolls!! Im sure they have mold somewhere as they are always only days away from expiring when they are bought.

This place failed the last health inspection they had. Half the time, the food is cold. It's not worth it.

Service was terrible. Waited 30 minutes just to order drinks. Asked for appetizer of chicken nachos. Cold chips, with unmelted shredded cheese, no salsa or sour cream (had to ask for it per the waiter). Asked for silverware when he brought out the nachos only to wait 20 minutes (and another reminder as he walked past). Food order didn't get entered in so 2 hours total before we were served. To make matters worse they didn't even get my wife's order right. Asked for asparagus and got onion rings. Got the check, no discount, not even a sincere apology. Asked to speak with Management and was told they were using their busboy and dishwasher to wait tables but would throw in a piece of dessert for our trouble - and to hurry back in to see them again. Really? Never again.

The 200 year old building is great! I've learned the in and outs of eating and hosting at The Florentine Restaurant.Ive met many new friends, Thanks for the great friends. Though the Florentine may be old, there is never an old day in her, the Thanksgiving and Christmas Seasons are upon the Florentine come visit and enjoy the Festival Seasons! Make your reservation for Christmas now before she is too full. Thanks for allowing me step into a great place for a little while.
