  Yesterday, my family and I went to the Christmas Buffet at Flamingos Restaurant. Many years ago, this place was the "go-to" place for holiday buffets. They stopped these wonderful buffets a couple years ago, but then I head that the buffets had resumed. I knew enough not to expect the spectacular buffet of old, but nothing has prepared me for the 2017 Christmas Buffet. The food choices were very limited and the food quality was horrible; service not much better. The buffet prices were high relative to the food offered plus a 21% gratuity on top of that too! I will remember this Christmas buffet but for all the wrong reasons.

  Horrible service! We were there Thanksgiving day for the buffet. When we were sat, we waited for our waitress to come over to at least acknowledge us, but we ended up just getting up to start getting our food. While we were eating we finally grabbed a waitress and asked her for some water and possibly a couple of drinks. She said she wasn’t our waitress but would do what she could. Needless to say we were just about done eating before we even got our drinks!
  To top it off the waitress had the nerve to add 21% gratuity to our two (2) person check (for a buffet to boot!!). No, she didn’t get 21% and barely got 10%!!
  Food was awful as well. Cold, salty, turkey loaf.sad. The manager was very nice!

  Still currently staying at the Radisson at the Port, the hotel where flamingos is located. We waited 10 minutes for menus & another 15 minutes for somebody, anybody to take our orders & nobody came. We left & walked to Kelsey's next door.

  Food is OK, but you'll need to be very patient, took 40+ min to get hamburger and Philly cheese steak.

  Food was bland, service was poor, drinks were weak. Atmosphere was nice, but altogether I would eat at a chain restaurant before going back.
