What a treat!! My first time visiting and I must say I will be back again. You can't beat having your favorite frozen yogurt flavors along with a nice variety of toppings for $5(not including tax) no matter how full your cup gets 😀. Awesome customer service! And I loved that I could sample the flavors before putting together my special master piece.
In writing this review, I am forced to wonder what would make for a five star froyo experience. We can all imagine, I'm sure, the one star experience: all the traditional one star dining experiences accompanied by the oozing, not quite cold enough machines, spewing God knows what flavor concoctions onto the cracked and peeled linoleum, with the drip drip drip sound of something like froyo splooshing onto the ground mixing with the buzzing of fluorescent lighting past its prime to create am altogether grotesque experience. Five Spot Frozen Yogurt is decidedly not this. Indeed, the experience was wholly positive and exactly what I've come to expect from contemporary froyo. That said, meeting expectations warrant 3 stars, 4 if I have no beef against them. But I am at a loss for I could not imagine what a froyo place would need to do to exceed my expectations. In froyo, as with most things on life, perhaps a four star review, one that pushes us to dream of what might exist in an Edenic space and time, is all we could or should ever hope for.
I always enjoy coming here with my family. However, they need to provide their customers with more flavors, and fix their machines which spill frozen yogurt all over, if the handle is not lifted back up.
My favorite is probably the mango frozen yogurt, the place is nice and clean, prices can get high depending on what you get but it's still good!
I enjoy going here alot you pack your bowel with what you want and it pretty much 5.30 (with tax) for that bowel.. it's worth it in my book!!
I gave it two stars only because the employee was nice and the topping area was neat and clean. BUT I was disappointed in the selection and quality of the yogurt. There were at least 4 machines down and the remaining flavor choices weren't great. Then the quality of the yogurt was not good because instead of creamy we got a slush/icee texture. Facility was dirty. Floors were gross and the little desk they have the Xbox on was dusty and dirty. Windows had hand prints and yogurt smeared on them. It was just gross! They had only been open for 3hrs and no one was in there which made me believe no one cleaned the night before. Neither bathroom had paper towels and they were also dirty. Chalk board def hadn't been cleaned in days. It was covered in chalk and writing. Like I said it was super slow so I know that wasn't from that day. Their inspection score was an 83. Not good!!!!
Soooooo many flavors to select and a lot of topping. Great customer service. Self-serv and you get to taste test before u purchase.
The kids liked it, so I have to give them a good review. I got fancy vanilla and didn't like it but they give you trial cups so that's on me. Great selection of toppings including sauces.
Five Spot Frozen Yogurt.. When I first heard the name, it intrigued me. I really hadn't had a good frozen yogurt until I went to Five Spot. It isn't just the food, its also the staff. Every single time I walk into this place, I see a smiling face, no matter what mood he is in, employee Orlando Jeffrey is always making sure everyone is having a great time; that the place is nice and tidy, socializing as well as making sure the people leave fully satisfied. This person and food, I can always count on to make my day so I can be satisfied and leave with a smile. So come down and meet Orlando and leave with a satisfied stomach for a great price.
