Always a great meal! The variety of sauces will delight, whatever your bbq preference. Don't skip the mac n cheese or the greens! Banana pudding for dessert will finish your meal perfectly.

Great food, friendly staff. You have to check this place out. The drinks are reasonable, there is outdoor seating for those of you who like a cigarette with your drinks. No complaints. Even the bar food is top notch and reasonably priced. Even in the off season, Home Team is on their game.

    Can I add a star?
My brother took us here while we were visiting this last weekend. We love barbecue but don't have any real good stuff near our home. This place is the best I've had. This isn't hype or hyperbole. This is just really good barbecue. I had the half rack of ribs and my wife had the sandwich plate. Neither of us were disappointed. Just really, really good.
    Go. Enjoy.
    We did.

Very disappointing. We arrived on Sunday night at 8pm. Tables were full and loud inside as usual. Wanted to eat out side. No table. There was one man sitting alone at a 4 top. Asked hostess if we could sit next to him,. She said no. I went over to ask man if he minded if we sat there and he said sure. Hostess refused to seat us there. Manger came up and we asked him if we could sit there and he said OK. Then we were told no because there was only one set of BBQ sauces for the two tables that were pushed together. Really, this is a BBQ joint, not fine dining. It is dining there way at this place not the customers way We left and went to Poe's across the street instead and had no drama!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't tried absolutely every barbecue joint in town but I've tried at least a dozen and Fiery Ron's, we just call it Home Team, is the best. What exactly makes it the best? The ribs are phenomenal, chicken wings are the best I've ever had, pork is good enough it doesn't need any sauce at all, chili is superb, and nachos made with that chili? Get outta town. The only category they didn't win hands down is the hash and rice, which I've had better at one other place. The locations are all good, the atmosphere is chill and trendy-modern. This is one of only a few places we require out of town guests to try.

Love this restaurant. It's the only place I've eaten that has cheese grits as a side item choice. The grits are superb! Great menu variety and fast service. Very kid friendly.

Well.. our first time here today. If you don't know the menu it's crazy trying to order when the line is long cause they are trying to get the q out asap we had the pulled pork sandwich which was real good and the 1/4 chicken white.. these jokers have perfected smoked chicken. It had a nice rub and juicy! Mac n cheese and coleslaw 👍cant forget the baked beans.. also good. This is not your typical barbecue place, something they do gives everything we had its own unique flavor.

Good BBQ nachos and homemade tortilla chips. The ordering process was a little confusing for a first-timer like myself especially with ordering drinks from the bar, but we figured it out. I was told by many people to check this place out and it was pretty good. Lots of good sauces so if you are huge BBQ fan definitely check it out!

Always great BBQ. Their smokers are going every day! Newly remodeled space added great outdoor seating. Do yourself a favor and have a painkiller with your Q, it screams summertime!

Wanted to have a good barbecue meal while we visited Charleston. Our Moon guidebook suggested this as good place. It sure was right. We got sliced brisket and pulled pork, mac cheese, collard greens, cole slaw, and baked beans. Their meat was perfect with the variety of sauces they offered. I loved the mustard based one, kids the sweet, and husband the hot. Sides were excellent (though the slaw was basic). Fed 5 for $60 with left overs. Exactly what we were looking for. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for ordering. We definitely would come again if back in the area. FYI if you are driving a motorhome streets are narrow and parking lot small, park behind in the overflow lot.

Found Fiery Ron's Home Team BBQ on a trip to Charleston SC. It is a Gem Best BBQ we have ever had. Atmosphere is inviting. Family oriented during the day and music in the evening. Did I mention the food was GREAT. Second visit went to visit family in VA. and drove the extra 500 miles to go back to Ron's. Worth every mile. The food was just as good the second time.
