I would come here only if you are interested in trendy and hip places. The place is extremely loud, service very slow and the food overpriced and not great. Certainly not a place I would recommend!

Want an excellent meal and great service? This is the place to go. What a charming little nook. I had no idea what I was in for walking into this place.

Wow!!

The food ..? O - M - Gosh. I was there for breakfast and had the Coddled Eggs.

Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!!!

I don't know. I think the eggs were steamed with soy sauce and mushrooms and they came with toast and smoked salmon.

So good I almost felt like biting into the China cup when I was done.

The service? I think I was greeted by everyone there. The chef, the hostess, 3 or 4 of the servers and even a couple customers said hello with big smiles and firm handshakes.

Try it. You'll like it.

Tremendously overpriced. Certainly convenient, but it's not swarming with customers. Looked empty. Hard to tell ambiance when so few people. Also, tried purchasing at the register, but had to wait even though no one ahead or behind me. Service was "meh" considering it wasn't busy. Has an odd casual "feel" but prices do not match the venue. Food just ok. Nothing to rave about. Not returning.

I had the eggs with pastrami and it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Delicious flavor and spicing. I also love the open market feel in the back of the restaurant.

Went here with out-of-town friends for the first time. Sunday night is prix fixe fried chicken night--and it was outstanding! Will definitely try another night to try the regular menu.

Innovative “farm-to-table” cuisine in a chic yet casual neighborhoody vibe. The ingredients are impeccable, the execution skilled. Service is crisp and assured, and servers know a great deal about the food.

We visited as a group of 4 from the UK. Great food, one of our favourite meals in LA. Service was a little slow and forgetful, and it was on the pricey side. Great food shop attached to the restaurant. Overall a lovely experience!
