We found Family Veterinary Hospital of Stone Ridge after researching alternative medicine for our very senior Great Pyr last year. As per usual with giant breeds, he had arthritis in his back legs and was unable to control his bowel movements; in addition, the meds he was on from his previous vet were causing him to lose weight, to the point where he was a very unhealthy size. We started acupuncture treatments, along with traditional and holistic medications with Doctor Hahn and they were worth every penny! Our Pyr's quality of life improved, he was having less accidents in the house, his personality perked up a bit and he got his appetite back. Eventually, old age took it's toll and our sweet boy passed away at 13; however, we credit Dr. Hahn and her amazing team for giving us an additional 8 months with him that we didn't think we would have. They were so patient, caring and informative throughout the entire process, and especially during the most difficult time at the end. We are currently in the process of looking to adopt again and without hesitation, will definitely make Family Veterinary Hospital our new fur-baby's care-provider, as well!

Dr. Chau is the best in the area. I moved to Chantilly a year ago and was looking for a new vet. I read reviews about vets in the area, went to a FB community group for referrals and took my dog in for check ups and other needs, to various vets, as needs arose. Dr. Chau was by far the best I saw---out of five area vets we saw. She has a reasonable approach, knows veterinary medicine VERY well and doesn't perform un-necessary testing just to run up your bill. I highly recommend her.

I happened upon this clinic because it was the closest to our home in Stone Ridge at the time. The staff are wonderful and have always treated my pets as their own. I had to have one put down and she was so well cared for there. Dr. Chou is the best, but she has expanded recently and all the new vets are as loving and thoughtful as she is.

The service they provide at both Family Veterinary and Middleburg Animal Hospitals is always wonderful and caring. They have state of the art equipment. They care so much about our animals and when one passes on they all share in our sadness because they are like family to them, too.

We were referred to Family Vet by a neighbor who, like us, was having a stubborn ear problem with their dog that no other vet could seem to get under control. Based on their results and feedback we scheduled an appointment with Dr. Myers.

All I can say is WOW! From the very beginning of the appointment the level of attention provided to us and our pooch was amazing, never before have we had a vet spend so much time with us at a personal level. She took in all of our information, explained her theories and provided us with multiple options to consider, each with thorough explanations.

After the exam and treatment I can say that the change on our pooch was almost immediate. No more scratching at her ears, being sensitive if we touched them, etc. We also got out of there paying half the price for the amount of services compared to what we would have paid at our normal vet.

We are glad to have such a close vet with fantastic doctors, staff and overall service and look forward to bringing our other, and future, dogs to Family Vet!
