It was a nice hotel and the staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast in the morning was definitely more than I expected. I was disappointed that they didn't have a bar or a restaurant. They don't have a beer or liquor license either so you can't pick anything up in the lobby fridges either.

The hotel was clean and fairly easy to access. (They had just received a lot of snow when I arrived, so it took a second to find the entrance under the snow). Staff was nice. Some fast food restaurants were near by and some chain restaurants about 5 minutes away by car. Breakfast is included and was a good simple breakfast with eggs, meat, fruit, waffles, and bread. Also have tea, fruit juice and coffee.

The lobby is very modern, warm and well put together. It has a nice flow to it. The front desk associates are inviting, yet professional. The location is accessible from both ways off of one of the main roads in Cedar Rapids.

This is one of the most beautiful, newest multi million dollar Fairfield Inn’s.
Nice and new!
BUT NO ELECTRIC OUTLETS ANYWHERE!
Good thing the electric cars aren’t very popular!!
Or not like anyone checking in would own a diesel pickup truck!
Why would you have a electric plug in available for your patrons on these cold below zero nights?
One would think one of the most recognized names in the hotel business would consider the area and the climate.

This is a great hotel! In fact I'm second guessing not making this 5 stars??? Great rooms and room privacy. You hear no other sounds! Friendly staff and fitness center, pool, and hot tub.not sure it gets better? Oh wait.no bar here. That's the only strike against. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel manager was extremely rude. I booked online requesting a double bed but ended up getting a single king bed in the room. I called the manager asking for assistance and she said it wasn't her problem. She offered no help or even to look to see if other rooms were available. Based on her actions, I will not be staying at a Fairfield again. Highly disappointed. I have always had good experiences at Marriott owned properties. It is too bad that one bad experience can taint a hotel chain.

This hotel was a standard Fairfield. The room was clean and up to date. I loved that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast had good selection but was not very good quality. All in all a satisfactory stay.

The rooms and hotel are very nice, they even come with a free buffet breakfast. The pool, although slightly small, and the hot tub were fantastic. The only downside we had was there wasn't a vent in the bathroom to let the steam out, so it sat there. And that the ice Machine on our floor was broken.

Very nice rooms and you can get the chance to see the how the other side lives in the traveling and the best of the best. And not a problem with the two of us to be in the sleeping double in a single bed / room. Most important thing to me that I am so excited to get a new place to stay in while I'm away from home and for me to come back from a nice little break from the outside world. Thank you for the hospitality and the best of all the best.

Easy access from highway, nice staff. Had an adequate fitness room and a good breakfast. We were roomed right next to the pool and the room was slightly musty and had a chemical smell but all-in-all was tolerable.

Great, very clean room. I was concerned that I was going to be kept up by the elevator because my room was right next to it but it was all soundproofed very well and not a problem at all. The front desk staff was very helpful in booking a room last minute after another local hotel did not allow me to check in. The shower was great, it was huge and very nice. My one problem was that the pool and hot tub area was filled with young kids from some sports event and it was extremely loud and impossible to enjoy the hot tub. Regardless, I would definitely stay here the next time I need to travel to Cedar Rapids.

Great location. Close to downtown and the Newbo district. Room was clean, shower is huge with great water pressure and it didn't take long for the hot water. Full breakfast in the morning.

We got the weekend in which the housekeeping staff quit according to their late desk. Our room smelled like a butthole when we arrived, they didn't stock any amenities all weekend, we had to go get our own towels and room supplies every night. Only one trash can was emptied all weekend long. When confronting the manager the refused to acknowledge the complaint. Our clothing smelled like campfire from an event we were working at and they accused us of smoking in the room and charged $250. I'm never going back that's for sure, talk about everything going wrong with this place all at once in one weekend.

When my husband and I first walked in, we were barely greeted by an african-american gentlemen at the front desk, he wore a frown the entire conversation we had and he seemed uninterested, and it just wasn't very pleasant. On the up-note, our rooms were very beautiful and clean. We certainly enjoyed the hot tub. While checking out, Jessica was very nice and made sure everything about our stay was satisfactory. If it wasn't for our first greeting I would've given 5 stars in a heartbeat.

Very clean, room was spacious and bathroom was wonderful. The morning breakfast was phenomenal. Eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal, cereal. Hotel is beautiful.

Seems modern and new. Unusually friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable and large rooms. Less than a mile away from the highway. In a nice area of town. Completely accessible for the disabled. Many good restaurants nearby. Good stop.

Very clean, we'll organized and pleasant stay. Their breakfast was also very delicious! The rooms were very nice especially compared to other hotels in the same price range. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay again!
