Basic (in a good way) hotel in a convenient location. Rooms were all clean and everything seemed up to date and well kept. You don't have to walk 10 minutes through a casino and get lost to get to your hotel room, it's like any normal hotel anywhere else. Prices were very good, and they don't charge a resort fee like most of the big hotels right on the strip. The free breakfast was pretty good. Parking is easy, close, and free. There is a McDonalds and 7 Eleven across the street to grab some food or snacks quickly. If you want a no frills place still central to Vegas, look no further. I wish the monorail that went by the hotel had a closer stop though.

One complaint though, when we were leaving they didn't have any luggage carts. When I asked the front desk, they basically said "someone else bust be hiding it upstairs". I waited like 15 minutes and it never came back. This is more the fault of a moronic or inconsiderate guest, but they should have more than 1 cart.

I have stayed here on business many times over the years - a committee I am on meets here twice a year. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the breakfast is decent, the WiFi works, and the staff is extraordinarily pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the Strip and there are numerous restaurants nearby. Their free shuttle will take you to or from the airport, and will also take you to one end of the Strip.

No wow factor here But there is a wonderful staff, clean and up-to-date rooms, workout room, pool and whirlpool both with disabled entry chairs, ice machine and a snack shack. Complementary breakfast and reserved shuttle service. No onsite restaurant however, the hotel's restaurant next has a minimal menu. My only disappointment was the whirlpool was the same temperature as the pool. cool. Enjoy your stay, I did. Grumpy Grandpa

A nice place near the LV convention center. Nice rooms, friendly staff. Pool is really small. Breakfast is typical of Marriot.

Did not seem like Fairfield Inn quality.

Pros - hospitable front desk staff, good location next to restaurants, beds were comfortable, free internet for gold members, complimentary breakfast (although very limited offerings). Free shuttle service to airport.

Cons - Old place even though they have done some renovationsold wallpaper in bathroom, bathtub was chipped/painted on bottom, etc. Sofa and footrest wasn't the cleanest. Lack of attention to daily cleaning. One example is that the toilet paper was out and they never put a new roll on the holder. Tissues were out, they just sat another box next to the tissue holder. Black shoe marks on floor in bathroom for all days I stayed. No refrigerator in room. No centralized air, blows from unit near window. TV satellite kept going out so I missed parts of my shows/news. TV volume also was limited and hard to hear.

Bathtub was dirty and drained slowly. Air conditioner was so loud I couldn't sleep. My room was not cleaned the first day I stayed when I got back around 430pm. Toilet made random bubbling noises. There are no vending machines anywhere in the hotel. The front desk charges $3 for a single bottle of water. And the front desk receptionist the first night and second night that I stayed was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. She bordered on being flat out hateful. I won't be back.

Hotel was great! Clean and comfortable! Just the area wasn't the greatest. The staff at the front desk were helpful and offered a free shuttle that dropped us off on the strip.

If you are on a budget and staying in Vegas, this is the place to go. I was in Vegas for a conference in Caesar's Palace and need a near by place that is affordable. The Fairfield inn was a 20 minute walk from Caesar's Palace and included all basic needs (continental breakfast and wifi). The staff was also very friendly and helpful!

Concierge was helpful and the lobby and rooms were very clean but the breakfast options were small and the pool was very dirty. My room was pleasant and the bathroom was a decent size but walls were very thin and I could here my neighbors t.v. even on low volume. The room a mini fridge with no freezer, coffee maker and microwave. Good restaurants are within walking distance but no close groceries stores.

Staff is nice and building is clean. Walking distance to the "strip" and good restaurants nearby. Unfortunately breakfast is very limited and the pool is not kept clean. My room has a mini fridge with no freezer, coffee pot and microwave. Room also includes a TV with local channels, a good sized desk and an iron and ironing board. Bathroom has good storage, a good sized tub and shower and large mirrors.

Perfect parking, wonderful customer service!!! We have parked here and taken the shuttle to the airport before- it is very convenient and reasonably priced. Much better than parking at the airport! The last time we parked there, my husband left his phone in the shuttle. We called the hotel, and the shuttle driver brought my husband's phone to him at the airport! Thanks again to KT and Herb for all of their help!
