First let me tell you about the administration. Every single time I call, the person who answers makes me feel like I'm such a pain for asking questions or not understanding what they are talking about. I have spoken to people in Admissions, Financial Aid, and student help multiple times over.
I couldn't even get ahold of my Financial Aid advisor who was assigned to me. I called her directly, left a message, didn't hear back for a full week so I emailed. She replied once before I stopped getting responses completely.
I got so little help, that the day before before the semester started, I had to go to the campus and wait to speak to someone in person because I had no clue how to get my books or if my financial aid had even gone though. The lady at the reception desk wouldn't even look at me when she talked to me. Just acted like everyone coming in was wasting her time and annoying her. The lady I finally spoke to answered my questions. She was the ONLY person that was kind and explained everything I needed to know.
And hey, good luck getting help at the bookstore. Make sure you have an idea what you need before hand, because one of the ladies that works there tried to tell me I needed 2 books that my teacher did not require. I told her what book my teacher said to get and she acted like she had no clue what to do. Thank goodness the young girl there knew what SHE was doing and intervened so I didn't walk away with the wrong items.
Let's talk about the classes. The school requires you to take a "Critical Thinking" class. It's a "You can do it, just believe in yourself" class. The book for it is 80 dollars. You can't buy it used or rent it because it has a code inside that you need. I have not once worked in it or read through it in class.They also require us to go to campus events and take pictures to show proof that we were actually there for some presentation at the end of the semester. And if you don't pass the class, you can't take any more classes except Cornerstone until you do pass it.
The ONLY thing this school has going in its favor is that the tuition is affordable.
I'm only taking general education classes and then transferring out. I am so disgusted with the way it's being run. Good luck if you're attending, you'll need it.

Nursing program misled students about accreditation and their president got escorted off campus by police, not what you should look for in an institution of higher learning!
