I am that guy who bought a boat with some motor issues. I have been in a few times over the last two months and Kerry has been great to work with. I had an issue with the warranty and he told who and how to correct it. It was refreshing to have someone straight forward and didn't try to BS me when something minor got missed by the mechanic. Kerry immediately owned it and had it corrected the very next day. Have been in twice since then For routine maintenance and another issue with gauges . Have been pleased with results . Their Yamaha mechanic is amazing and has always gone the extra to make sure it's correct. He takes pride in his work and to me it shows. When I was hooking it up he came out and talked to me about what had been going on with it and what he did to get it running great again. Well done ..skeeter 2250.
A+ Fantastic we needed parts for Hurricane Boat ordered very knowledgable parts counter. They got parts in fast and we are back out cruzing Thank You Dale!!
I have a great relationship with the sales and service dept. I bought my new hurricane boat from Rick, the service manager.. Got a great deal and he stood by everything in the contract.. No hassles :-)
Kerri, the service manager, and Andy, the Top tech are the go to guys!! awesome customer service and boat service! Timely and very accommodating. I have owned 6 boats prior, and no other service center comes close in comparison. I am very happy in my dealings with THE BOAT HOUSE and wouldnt hesitate to purchase and service my next boat there!!!
Rick and the team at the Boat House in Port Charlotte have been great to work with. Rick sold me a new boat 3 years ago, and has never hesitated to provide me with advice and guidance whenever I give him a call. He is honest and always available - a great representative for Cobalt Boats.
Never did business there, but I called to ask them how I would go about presenting a product they might want to buy. Without going into any detail about my product the man that answered the phone told me they would not be interested in anything and they had everything they needed. Except maybe a personality! Don't think I would ever buy anything from anyone so close minded. Did't seem to think much of customers and too much of himself. And obviously close minded as he quickly shuts down his options of meeting anyone to maybe sell a boat and also his choice to not acquire continuing knowledge of his industry.
We had a great time with our boat rental this past may! We were staying with my aunt in Cape Coral and they were able to accomadate our whole party into one boat. Not a lot of places can do that! We had 9 people with us! We had a blast and went all the way from Cape Coral to Cayo Costa to do some shelling with time to spare! It was choppier than we all remembered but we had a great time nonetheless. Everyone working that we interacted with were very nice and explained everything very well and got us in and out before and after the boat rental! HIGHLY recommend to anyone staying in or around Cape Coral looking for some good shelling! Sanibel and Cayo Costa are the places to be!!
The Boat House in Cape Coral was exceptionaln every area! The staff was friendly, the price was very reasonable, the deck boat was brand new and dream to drive! Next time we need a boat, we will be going back to the Boat House! They make renting hassle and stress free.
Hey I just wanted to say that we had a great time on the water with our family. This is the second time we have rented from the Boat House. When we arrived Jessie met us and gave us a quick thorough run down of the boat and off we went. I highly recommend renting from the Boat House in Cape Coral. We look forward to coming back for our next trip. Thanks for another great experience!

We are looking at purchasing a boat and decided to rent a 20' Hurricane deck boat as an attempt to pick a comfortable model/size. Google search led us to "The Boat House"
We drove to Cape Coral as they had the boat available for rental on short notice.
Laura was very friendly as she reviewed all boat equipment and inspected the boat.
The boat ran great, very clean, and provided a positive experience.
Would recommend "The Boat House" rentals to others based on our experience.
We will be considering purchasing from them as we finalize our selections.
thanks
Randy
Make sure you have EVERYTHING in writing. Follow up on their progress or lack there of every day!! Don't assume they will do what they say. If they tell you parts are ordered, MAKE SURE. If they tell you they are going to work on it the day you drop it offMAKE SURE. It would have saved me thousands and my lower unit would not be a complete DisasterDropped lower unit off a 2011 Suzuki DF 250 on Dec the 16th. Due to fishing line getting in prop and causing salt water to get into lower unit. The boat was in use 2 days before I dropped off the lower unit. I was told by Carry ( i was told he was service manager) that it would take a week and a 1/2 to get back as it took 1 week to get parts and a day or so to install. This was very important to me as I wanted to take my boys on a couple diving trips for Christmas Vacation. I was told that there would be approx 4 to 5 hours labor at $108.00 and hour plus the parts. It should be less than $900.00 dollars to repair. They took in the shop immediately and pressure tested in and told me they were going to take it apart and order parts. On Dec the 24th I received a call which I thought was going to be to tell me to come pick it up. Instead, I was asked which way the prop spins. I told Carry that it is counter rotating and asked if it was done and can I pick it up. He told me that they just took it apart a few minutes before he called me and were going to order parts that day. (it was supposed to be taken apart the day I dropped it off) I was not pleased but what could I do? I showed up the following Monday to check on it. I think he was surprised to see me as he said he was just getting ready to order parts. I went in the back and it made me sick when I saw my lower unit in pieces laying on a bench absolutely ruined and seized up beyond repair. It looked like it has been on the sea floor for months. It was far far beyond 2 days worth of rust. My lower unit was and is absolutely destroyed. Had they taken it apart or doe anything they told me it would have been moderate fix. They left it for a couple of weeks before doing anything to it. The big Irony is how Carry went on and on about how important it was to get it taken apart right away when I dropped it off. I had to buy a compete new lower unit. I was told by the store manager to wait till the next day and his regular service guy would be in and they would get me another estimate and would work with me to make it right.WRONG. I received a call the next day and was told it would cost $1,900 in parts and approx $700.00 in labor and he stressed the fact that it could be moreI ended up buying a new Lower Unit yesterday for $3,600 bucks plus Tax. I certainly feel through Carry's incompetence that they directly cost me a minimum of $2,600. They did nothing they said, Carry flat out lied about ordering parts, and taking the lower unit apart, then shirked any type of responsibility. I did let the store manager know but other than apologize and say that they would work with me to make it right nothing was done..BEWARE!!! I wish I could post pictures on here of the Clean lower unit that I took to them and the box of mangled rusted parts they have that I have no Idea how to put back together. Literally a box of rusted seized up parts is what they have for me.Update. I'll have to agree with the other review about lack of ethics. I went in today to pick up my box of rust and seized up parts. They literally sprayed oil on them right before they handed them to me. One of the boys in the shop told me. I stopped by to talk with Rick and it ended up getting heated and out of control but in the end. They are totally shirking any responsibility. They went from apologizing and saying they would work with me to make it right to trying to blame it on me for something about not having my credit card on file to order parts. That was the 1st time I had heard that. .Guess it took them a while to think that one up. I guess they must have lost it.
