Reasonable value if you choose weekly package, remember you get what you pay for.
Friendly, clean and fair price
THIS HOTEL WAS THE BOMB!!! I LOVE THE STAFF THE GM MGTS MORGAN AND COLETTE WERE AWESOME GETTING ME CHECKED IN AND THEY WERE VERY PATIENT!! LANESSE WAS VERY TACKFUL AND PROFESSIONAL THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND VERY QUIET I OBSERVED THEM CHECK IN SEVERAL GUEST BEFORE MYSELF AND THEY WERE PATIENT NOT IN A HURRY AND MET ALL THEIR GUEST NEEDS!!! THIS HOTEL DESEVES ALL 10s!!!
The location of the hotel was not too far away from downtown Detroit, which made it ideal since I was going to attend an event in Detroit. The room was nice and had a small kitchen for those who stay longer than a weekend. I would gladly stay here again.
Nice room, clean and nice shared spaces, friendly people, but inconsistent internet. I was there two nights, on the first it was so slow I had to use my phone hotspot the whole time, on the second it was reasonable.
Extended stay America hotel, Dearborn Michigan, Town center Dr.
This has to be the worse hotel we have ever stayed in!
My husband and I traveled to Dearborn, celebrating our wedding anniversary.
On our agenda were the Henery Ford attractions.lookng for something close at a reasonable price, $130.00 per night.
We booked our hotel stay from the website, we needed to change our dates of arrival and departure.
We called reservations on line and were nicely accommodated. We wanted a king suite/ with kitchen accomidations, the woman offered us a senior AARP discount, as well as an extra fee of ten dollars a day for special cleaning of the kitchen/ and all other areas.
When we arrived; around eight pm. first impressions speak very loudly!
The Foyer and desk area were small and untidy. The desk was dirty and full of hand smears!
The floor tiles were missing most of the tile grout, as well as broken tiles.
The rug that covered the tile floor was in need of vacuuming! The elevator floor was full of litter!
There wasn't a suitcase rack anywhere to be found. We had to make several trips to the car for our things!
We asked if indeed the kitchen was stocked with all the items needed! The clerk looked stunned!
His reply, did you want a pan now?
I said " what isn't it an already stocked kitchen?" The clerks reply no what do you think you need?
He then gave us a bin full of the necesities. Something extra for us to carry up to the fourth floor!
Upon entering our room, we were sorely disappointed! The kitchen was old and dirty! The room it's self was No Suite! Poorly decorated, old dated lighting, mirror hung in back of theTV. Closet covered with a curtain. Small bathroom. The carpet had visible stains! Pulling back the bedding revealed a very dirty and stained mattress pad, with viable crumbs or whatever it was? I was concerned about bed bugs!
We called the desk and asked for clean bedding! The mattress pad was zippered and zip tied, which led me to believe that it had never been removed for cleaning!
The next morning my husband put on clean white socks that were completely filthy, by the time we got ready to leave for the day!
We told the assistant manager of the cleaning concerns, she assured us that she would have housekeeping clean the carpet while we were out!
Apon our arrival back to our room, we found that the usual house keeping had been done, except for the kitchenette! Nothing was cleaned, including the dishes. Per our phone reservations; we paid an extra ten dollars a day for this "cleaning service!"
The desk clerk once again seemed clueless and told us we had to do our own cleaning of dishes and kitchen! With out any supplies to do this, we were perplexed! Not even a sink stopper, or dish soap!
We went out and bought the necessary items, drain stopper, cleanser, scrubbies,(as no dish rag was provided) and dish soap!
I appoligize for the long review; as I have never before been so frustrated with hotel accomidations!
This was clearly not a pleasant experience! Can't even give one star!
While in Dearborn Michigan stay clear of this dump!
We wanted a reasonable priced hotel that would be close to the Henry Ford museum. Room was clean and had a nice kitchen in it. The staff was not overly helpful and they said they have a continental breakfast but it was coffee and tea bags with granola bars and muffins. Not what I call continental breakfast.
The computers apparently go down often enough for the host to type in a fury to complete my arrival registration. It then have to wait 15-20 minutes to reboot and complete it after it failed the first time.
Other than that it was clean and neat. The walls are a bit thin, but no other issues at all.
Pristine clean roomkitchen w/full-size refrigeratorheavenly mattresswonderful staff
I guess it wasn't terrible but it also wasn't good. We got a discounted rate through priceline but still it really wasn't worth what we paid. I would have much rather done an airbnb. It wasn't dirty but it didn't "feel" clean either. Summary: it's a 2.5 star hotel what are you really expecting?
Where do I even start!? When we first checked in we were fairly impressed with the front desk service. The black lady working the front desk (name started with a C) was extremely welcoming. First impression of the room was fair as well. We made sure to check bedbugs (a warning from a previous reviewer) and didn't find a single one after an extensive search. The mattress, though, was extremely disgusting. I mean blood and unfamiliar stains filled the mattress, and the protective cover didn't look much better. Ewww!!! The most disappointing part of the stay is by far our annoying neighbors. It is currently 2am and their (fairly large sounding) dog has been growling and barking for over an hour. This has been an every night issue over the week. I'm sitting here very upset with the hotel right now. If you're going to be pet friendly, maybe you should consider the other people staying here and set some ground rules!?. I imagine they put us in the room next to them because we have our newborn with us? Either way, our son is much more pleasant than their dog, but he hasn't gotten much sleep because of their untrained mutt. We are all pretty sleep deprived, and we are here on business. I imagine our neighbors would be much more successful training their dog if they didn't constantly scream "shut up" at him. If you can't train your dog correctly, don't bring them out in public. Screaming at them isn't the proper way to train them, and it's very disrespectful to the other people staying at the hotel. We will be here for two more daysI really hope this gets better. Oh, and the complimentary breakfast is a serious joke. Some oatmeal packets and cheap packaged muffinsw/e. You get what you pay for, apparently. I don't mind paying higher rates for a better experience. I'll never stay here again!
I stayed at this hotel many times and never had a problem until three weeks ago. I stayed in a 4th floor room and woke up at 1 am itching. I pull back the cover and there was a bedbug crawling. I killed it, took a picture, called the front desk. I was moved to another room, but of course I could not sleep because I was fearful of being bitten again. When I checked out the woman at the front desk apologized and indicated the management would be calling me. Well, it's been three weeks, and still no call. I called and left a message and still no call back. I will never stay there again and would not recommend to anyone. I wish I could rate it zero stars for the lack of customer service but the system doesn't allow it.
I had a great experience at Extended Stay America. They allowed me to check in early, staff was really nice and helpful, room was clean and really updated feeling. Had a stove and full size fridge, and a nice flat screen TV. Also had free wifi with fast speeds. Overall I would stay here again and even recommend this place to Mr friends.
